Chad Henne 93.38 QB rating through first 3 preseason games

you just cant win with you people. all offseason its been where is the long ball henne cant throw yadda yadda yadda and now your looking for something else. That something else is the OL. That is the worry. Not Chad Henne. Anyone has to see a change. Im just waiting for chad to throw a pick so all haters will join in unison. laughable. miami fans are the worst in the league and this is why. You just want to point to negatives even when the evidence is clear.

Your not gonna get through to them bro. Just resign to the fact that we live on two different planes of existence. We are on the positive outlook side of the fence, and they are on the nit picky side of the fence. They miss the forest for the trees, constantly. Just agree to disagree, or block em lol.
 
I bet some of you people actually root AGAINST Henne. He's our QB and some of you need to just realize that and support the guy...jeez.

By making this comment I guess you are still missing the point that John Beck never really had an opportunity until now to become a full time QB. I would think Mike Shanahan knows a little more about quarterbacks than you do. And Rex Grossman led a team to a Superbowl before, so before you start to bash the guy at least evaluate their circumstances first. Football is not always white and black..
 
That's good and all, but I'd be weary of putting your faith into Chad until he shows it in the regular season.

Aight Nostradamus. So you are guaranteed Henne is going to suck again? I know these games mean nothing, but your quarterback is suppose to perform well if hes any good because of the vanilla defense he face. If he can't excel against basic coverages, you can't expect him to do when the level of play is increase. If you look at the current great QB playing right now. They all have great pre-season qb rating. It's just like an nba player playing a pick up game in the park, he dominates. Simple football knowledge. Get you some. And why don't you come shut me up?

I'll guarantee you two things.. First, Henne will miss wide f'n open receivers, he will not see defensive backs, he will lock onto his targets and he will get sacked when he should have felt the pressure.. The other guarantee is if you were standing in front of me when you made your first comment towards me... you'd be on your ***...
 
Preseason games don't count but they do matter - good performances in exhibition can definitely translate to good performances when the season starts. You know Henne had a 77 QB rating last preseason? He finished the year with a 75 qb rating, that's pretty similar. But let's disregard stats, I freakin' hate em. Just by watching the kid you can tell he's a little bit more comfortable in the pocket, and he's still hanging in there and making throws when he knows he's about to get clobbered. I counted at least 4-5 successful audibles last night, something he was not allowed to do under Henning. It is never a bad thing for your starting quarterback to be on the upswing heading into the season.

But if you've watched Henne over the years, he really seems to lay down when it comes to close games and high pressure situations. This what I really want to see Henne improve in, taking this team on his shoulders when they need him the most. Once he consistently leads game winning drives for this team, I will be really impressed, but so far so good.
 
Henne did a good job, way too many penalties and a poor offensive line killed Miami here.

New England has a superb Defensive line....the first game is going to be a very very long night if Sparano will top tinkering around and stick these guys where they need to be. Jake Long can only help so much when your playing Guards that can't pull surrounding a rookie Center. I'm legitimately worried about this unit, if they were fine we could easily make a play-off run guaranteed.
 
He does look to be playing much faster than he did last year. It was shocking to see he was leading the league throughout the preseason.
