Chad Henne 93.38 QB rating through first 3 preseason games

Interesting that the next two QBs after Henne in passing yds this preseason is Matt Ryan and Kyle Orton.

Actually, even more specifically, last week it was "well it was against the worst team in the league!" (despite the fact that their DEFENSE ranked anywhere from 7th to 22nd worst depending the category (22nd worst being passing yards). This week, Henne threw up a 143.9 QBR against the 9th best scoring Defense in the league.. so now it's on to the agenda-based next denial and deflection.

You just have no clue about the preseason. The preseason is about evaluating individual talent. It is not about team play. You are blind to the changes in Henne, because you believe that the preseason means nothing. The win and losses mean nothing in the preseason. Individual performance matters in the preseason.

Man, I don't know if this is the "real Henne" or not, I sure hope that this kid can put it together. He has looked really good in the preseason, but even the Lions can look good in preseason.

If he does develop into an honest to goodness QB, then look out. If not, then it'll be a long couple of seasons.


I'm rooting for him. We need a QB we can count on again.

just watched ryan look like a schoolboy vs. steelers.

but i thought ryan mallett would be leading in all categories by now. hehe

soon we will hear "...he has to do it for more than a few games..."
or maybe, "...that was only one season..."
they can do it forever

uh, the lions are roaring! Suh is simply the main beast of NFL. guy tears helmets off people and throws em to the ground.....after the play is over! glad we dont play those guys!

i think i just summarized the glass being half empty or half full split of dolphins fans right now

can't we just appreciate what we have seen from him while also being realistic of the tough road our team has ahead of them?
 
I'm a so-called Henne "basher" and yes he had a good game against a poor team and then a pretty good team ... thats great! I hope he continues because I want a winning team. However, you guys sound like you're trying to convince yourselves. And I bet if he were stinking up the preseason you'd all be making all kinds of excuses so don't get too high on yourselves ... we have a wicked 6 game stretch to start the season and a lousy o-line. Thats what's most important right now.
