Chad Henne and Hits on Quarterback

still can't believe henne got up after that one bulldozing wilfork sack week 1...that thing was like being hit head on by a rhino

i can't see that content on my work computer you put up there but i saw the endzone straight on angle on that play somewhere and incog got beat off the snap like a step child and henne stepped to the right to avoid that freight train and wilfork destroyed carey and earholed henne pretty much with a full head of 350 plus lb steam

hardest head on qb hit i've seen in a while i know that...

its stats like these that really make me root for henne. I don't see how any QB would survive in miami.

can you imagine just how sore henne was the next day after taking that hit from wilfork...or worse 2 days later when the real soreness kicks in...i bet he lived in the ice tubs and whirlpool that week

Few QB's do play all 16 games.... basically... and so far... it's just another indictment of the HC and staff as well as the players....

I guess TS's idea of RB being the feature back went south real quick... laughable as it was to begin with...

The best protection for CH is to establish Thomas early and often....

This is exactly what I am thinking, because unless they miraculously fix the line within the next few weeks, very little will change as far as the line. That right side is a time bomb.
We need to establish the run, or Henne will be in pieces by 2/3rds the season.

They ran a lot out of shotgun with Thomas, so hopefully the threat of Thomas break big runs will help deter opposing D's from trying to get up field.

Surely you jest. Matt Ryan obviously would have side stepped that, ate a sammach and hit Brandon Marshall in stride for a 70 yard Td...

Though I agree with the analysis (and anybody who has watched the games this year knew it would be inevitable), the ground doesn't technically count as the offensive line. That said, Matt Moore can now step up to play the role of 'won't last'.

ok. If that was indeed Henne's last snap of the season, he had an alright season. He is nott he reason we are having the troubles we are. He still needs to be replaced though if we actually want to get anywhere in the future

If the ground is MVP of our year so far, is Lex co MVP?

An ol' coach once told me... "It's not the 100th blow that breaks the rock, son...it's the 99 that came before it"...

It was only a matter of time... Henne was taking too many hits back there. The offensive line contributed to it, the running backs contributed to it, and Chad Henne contributed to it.
