Chad Henne is looking to re-sign with Dolphins

hes hoping to come back as a backup cause he probably knows he wont get a starting job anywhere else so whats the point of relocating just to be a back up? problem is, he cant even land a back up job in miami, matt moore should have the backup job locked up and matt flynn the starter if we get him.

So Roboshrek wants to come back, as a back up yes, I see him taking his talents to garbage land, the New York jest

I don't think he'll be back....I really think they want to move on.

Ozzy rules!!

Alex Smith didn't turn his career around until this year (his seventh season in the NFL). He was even hated more by SF fans than Henne is by some here. Who's to say the light won't still go on for Henne?

Just for the record though, I think it would be best for him to part ways.

imo i still think the light will STILL come on for henne but i just dont want to sit around and wait for that to happen WE NEED TO WIN NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad to hear Henne loves it here. Bet he works his a$$ off in the offseason and comes in to fight for a job. Hope he gets one, even a backup job. I love to be proven wrong when I write a player off.

Think about it. We draft a rook, who is developed comfortably, and Henne and Moore fight like rabid dogs for the job, both lighting up the scoreboard in the preseason. Quarterback controversy ensues. This board goes down under the hysterical load. Someone's quarterback gets hurt in the third preseason game and they come offering draft picks for one of them...

Bust is one thing. That isn't an issue, that's an objective term. The comments about bringing him down as a waterboy are what got you called classless. The point is Henne is a person. People forget that they're talking about an actual individual when they say things like this. Yes, he had a rough go of it down here, but call it like it is and let the man move on. No need to keep railing on the guy, especially when his issues most likely stemmed from poor coaching. What QB would thrive with Sparano putting the fear of death in him for making even the tiniest mistake? Henne is probably too far gone as a football player thanks to Sparano, but that's no reason to keep piling on the guy...

LOL I only opened this thread to see some good, fun jabs...and I get kumbaya? But he's a person too...you should treaty him with respect...really guys, I highly doubt any player reads this forum and if henne possibly did, im sure he's sleeping just fine...

Henne should leave, I understand fins fans hate henne but anyone who honestly thinks henne isn't one of the best 32 qb's in this qb deficient league is biased against henne, he deserves a chance to compete somewhere and won't get that chance here so he should move on, best of luck Chad, you weren't the most talented qb but you always gave it your best and worked hard, never complained despite being given a raw deal at times, and were one tough s.o.b., I'll never forget that jets game either, henne to ginn!!!! Revis who??

I'm teary eyed. There's alot of support for a QB who couldn't put a w on the board for his team last year. We should resign him and hope all NFL gms recognize his talent like most FH posters and trade him for a high pick.

........I dunno, I personally have a hard time believing that Moore would have had a better year than Henne would have if Henne was healthy.

I'd rather bring Henne back than give a completely unproven Flynn 60 million.

Newsflash, Moore had a much better season than Henne, would of, could of, should of, doesn't cut it.

I always prayed the lights would magically turn on for him, but let's get real. He will never be a Franchise QB in the NFL!!! You have to be good in the Redzone and in the 2 min Offense. Henne is in the bottom of the league in both categories. He had his shot and I wish him well. Time to move forward Dolphins, not backwards!!!

Three games wasn't much of a season.

Anyway, who cares.

I doubt Miami resigns him but if the dude wants to stay in Miami and compete for the job, more power to him.

They will bring in another QB (Flynn, Manning, RGIII etc...)

Let the best QB win.
