Yes, but you looked like clowns from even before he got arrested. Anyone who looked at Chad Johnson standing there throwing curse words every other sentence during an off-season PRESS CONFERENCE and then acting like it's normal already looked like clowns.

That goes for all of you who chastised Philbin for telling him to stop it.

The guy acts like a little child, unprofessional. Glad he is gone.
 
I for one will celebrate the Chad Johnson release by buying a box of condoms and nookieing it up with my girl. I'll make sure they are aqua and orange and glow in the dark!!!

If they man up and cut their losses, they'll be fine. HBO is loving this though.
 
Philbin and staff got rid of Marshall for a lot less, and Marshall is much better than Chad.

They picked the perfect team for drama this year. The only team during training camp with a high profile injury to their qb and an arrest to the most well-known player on the team.

Yes, the press conference was kinda disturbing to me. He is a mental and emotional child, and apparently a self-destructive one, too. That or he is an amazing actor and self-promoter.

Didn't Chad say on Hard Knocks his wife only gave him some the game he scored a TD last year? That dropped pass last night might have cost him at least a month of having to go solo. Said his wife wouldn't even let him come home during training camp....WTF? They should still be in the rabbit stage. No wonder the man has to drop 6 "F" bombs during media sessions!

Not the first athlete to be brought down by a relationship.
 
I'm not as interested in off-the-field stuff as the majority of you seem to be. Not defensing what he did, I just think we as a society should stop idolizing athletes and just let these modern-day gladiators go knock the snot out of each other on Sundays.

Yep. I remember you texted me about 10 picks before it was our turn saying that they felt we were going to take him. I got stoked. I thought he could play and wanted us to take a receiver at that point. Was bummed when we didnt get him.
