Chad Ochocinco released, states Dolphins possible landing spot.

Con: he reportedly has trouble deciphering complex algorithms in playbooks.

Pro: in WCO he only needs to "count" & cut.

I'm ok with signing him.

QFT. The NE offense has very complex reads that generally take WRs a while to figure out, and that's where Ochocinco failed because he'd never been asked to do that before.

As for his being a diva WR, he's more like Stevie Johnson than Terrell Owens.

I wouldn't mind the Bills signing him. I don't think they will, but who knows? They signed Vince Young.

Not to mention all the "Sparano is a really smart guy with a lot of ideas" quotes. Really? Does anyone in Jet Land understand that he had ZERO to do with coming up with the Wildcat?

David Lee explained it to Henning. Lee and Henning then explained it to Pennington. Leee, Henning and Pennington then explained it to Sparano and Tony simply OKed it to be used.

Junc isn't the only delusional Jests fan. I imagine that Jests fans will be wishing they had Schottenheimer back by mid-season.

Ocho cinco is a top 10 wr... He is a superb route runner, good hands, exactly what our WCO needs. He is not a locker room killer like TO, guys actually like him. Like published today, the reason he got cut is cause of his lack of grasping the NEP offense + the dudes there been playing in that offense for years. Bad situation for him since the beggining, but point is psysically he can still ball doubt in my mind! For a million year, I have no problem bringing him in, nothing lose, top tier wo to gain.

WAS a top 10 wr. I mean I'd still take him though for everything you said. I'd hope our wr's would be:

-In no order-
Ocho
Hartline
Bess
Gates
*rookie
*Derek Moye ( I love his potential )

HELL NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like the way this team is going, i want them to build the team from top to bottom with young drafted talent.

ROFL!

I can't wait till late in the season when the Jet's fans are burning pictues of Tony Sparano.

P.S. We can at leastr rightfully claim that we had no idea that Tony had no idea how to run a offense. Rex Ryan had no excuse. Their "reason" for hiring Sparano to replace Scotty is that "it will make their offense simpler". It has been "too complex" for Sanchez and company.

The "complexity" of Schottenheimer's offense is the result of Brett Favre's mental brilliance and Rex Ryan's attempt to cover his big butt.

P.P.S. one thing that REALLY scares Jet's fan is that they traded for Tebow, hired a "run the ball" OC in Sparano and then drafted a option team WR who is a great blocker and is used to only catching 34 catches a season.

Can the Ga Tech option offense be far behind?

Actually, they're too ignorant to be scared. Most of them have bought into the dual urban legends of Schotty's too complex offense and Sparano's great offensive mind. IMO, the Jests hired Sparano because he's a Parcells pal and, therefore, a hero in Tannenbaum's mind. He's also dumb enough to go along with the Jests' bright idea to abandon the forward pass. With Sparano, Tebow, and Hill, what else could it be?

I wouldn't mind him at all. He is on an era of redemption. Bring him in. He doesn't get in trouble like marshall he just gots some swag. Nothing wrong with swag. The patriots took that away from him and he was to intimidated by the team itself. Miami is a great fit for him and he would do decent here. Let the man play.

We don't even got a top 32 wr on our team, there no way you can even find 14 better wr than chad. At worst lets say he a top 15 wr,hell even if he was 20th best at what he did, that is still production waiting to happen. Dunno bout y'll bout I hope phins are all over him!

He is a Dolphin fan. Stop bad mouthing him. I think he is just trying to have some fun. He doesn't strike me as a problem player. He would be the best WR on the team right from the start.

I am not sure I see the Dolphins signing him. Maybe they bring him in for a workout, but ultimately I don't see him being a Dolphin, at least not prior to training camp. Perhaps if there are some injuries or the WR corps looks really bad they could bring him in. However I think right now they are going to try and get their 5 or 6 receivers from the 12 guys they have on the roster right now.

Ochocinco is a diva receiver but really he is not a Marshall, Moss, Owens, Burress type distraction player. He would need to be managed and would probably be OK with a quarterback like Moore or Garrard throwing to him. The more curious situation would be if ends up having the rookie Tannehill throwing him passes. Tannehill is going to struggle early(if he starts the season), as do most rookie quarterbacks and a personality like Ochocinco might not be the best for the team. Less dangerous than a Marshall type player, but still could be dangerous.

I see some say that Miami wouldn't be interested at all since they just shipped Marshall out of town, but I am not sure I really see that connection. Marshall is one more off the field incident from probably being suspended for half a season or more. He has almost been murdered twice during his time in the NFL. Plus he absolutely destroys a quarterback mentally and was definitely not a fit for a team trying to build around a 1st round pick rookie. Ochocinco is more like Channing Crowder than Marshall.

If Ochocinco wasn't so old and coming off a very unproductive season I could see them signing him. Does he have anything left in the tank?

Thats sums it up quite well

Now its coming out ocho cinco is his IQ ... turns out he can't learn the play book on all his teams, although he has a great skill set.

Who knows ... but I'd say its believable. Might make him cheap (incentive laden) ... which might make him a Dolphin.

The Saddest Part: Ocho would be far better than any of our Receivers ... even being old & not knowing the play book!!

Marshall was a sociopath. Ochocinco is just a clown. I'd be willing to kick the tires. Low risk high reward. If he bombs its not going to do any long term damage to the franchise
