While slow and a poor cover LB, he learned from Zach and his absence may explain our lousy defense. Leadership is critical.

While at it, Henne is finally the leader of the offense but he had a sub-par average day.

Team chemistry sucks right now.

Bush is weak. Tony needs to go.
 
Is he a head coach? Because I'm pretty sure that's one of the pretty big missing pieces.
 
I'm over Crowder already.

Crowder is NOT going to stop the poor game management.
Crowder is NOT going to have this team prepared to play every Sunday.
Crowder is NOT going to lead to better player conditioning.
Crowder is NOT going to hinder all the lack of concentration and dropped passes.
Crowder is NOT going to stop the bad play calling in critical situations (3 consecutive incomplete passes in the red zone leading to a FG, instead of giving it to Thomas when he is hot).

I kind of agree. Crowder kept the defense organized and would make important adjustments. Over the last two years, when Crowder would be out of the game, you could see that the defense was impaired. But, physically, we needed an upgrade. Somebody better step up to be our defensive leader.

The only problem I see with Bush so far is the way he is being used. I would like to see them mix it up with Thomas inside and Bush outside. Put Bush in motion, spread him outside, screens etc. I think he and Thomas could be a good combination.

Does every idiotic idea have to be brought up on this board? Ugh... the absence of Channing Crowder isn't what's wrong with this team... He never learned jack from Zach. When he played with him, he said he was glad Zach did all the thinking and preparation so that he didn't have to.
 
Hahaha I was waiting for this...They should bring Channing out of retirement. And im not even kidding.

I think this is a good point, and when Crowder was cut, the current defensive captain, Karlos Dansby, said the same thing publicly himself.
