What happened to getting really smart guys. Iknow emotions are what got to these guys (bar fights). But I don't see bellicheck getting guys in bar fights. I like their raw talent but am confused in the fact thtat i thought we were only getting really smart guys... and smart guys don't do bar fights. I just hope its out of their systems (both of em)

I understand your point. But the real fact here is that we are not New England, and Saban is not Belichek. Maybe Bill wouldn't have takin a chance on Crowder, but Saban would we will see how it turns out.

For as many Super Bowls BB and NE has won with "good" guys. Jimmy Johnson (or JJ's players) have won just as many, and many of them were down right criminals, and sure not very "good" guys.

Once he actually plays against him and gets the crap beat out of him by Roth, Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas, and Crowder, I will be laughing my head off.

Only two things concern me w/ Crowder:
1. Knees

I feel like, SOMETIMES, when you take a guy with character concerns he want to make the effort to prove you to be a genius. Crowder is gonna play and workout with a chip on his shoulder against all the teams that passed up on him. Maybe he doesnt work out and gets into trouble, but if he does not, and those knees hold up. he has potential to play well this year. I think he will beat out E.Moore and be one of our starting OLB, and move inside when we run a 3-4 look. STEAL.

the bar fights dont concern me hes young just hope hes knees dont become a problem. if he stays healthy crowder was a great pick up

My biggest problem with him is that I always want to call him Cranning Chowder, and that's just wrong. :nesucks:

I go to UF and see Crowder out all the time and for the most part he is a nice, humble kid. The main problem is that he never had any guidance in his life... when he was here zook let the whole team get away with murder and didnt discipline whats how ever. From what i see of him he is a big teammate guy and will go to battle(literally) for his teamates.
