Here's a crazy scenario:

Patriots lose out
Dolphins win out
Colts lose one game

The Dolphins get the #2 seed in that situation. Imagine that. It's extremely unlikely that a team with Tom Brady on it would ever lose three straight though.

root for new england, id rather clinch the 6 seed then keep alive slim hopes at a division title and still have a chance to not make the playoffs.

Yeah, that's what I would end up doing. Or, should I say, hope that the Ravens lose.

Cincy Wins/Miami Wins: Here, we'd have decent shot at Div title, so gotta go with Ravens to win. Downside, Miami would HAVE to beat Jets or miss playoffs.

Cincy Wins/Miami Loses: The ONLY way we'd go to playoffs is to have Ravens Lose/Lose and Miami beat Jets, so gotta go with NE. [edit: Corduroy pointed out we could still advance on 3 way tie w/ SD)

Cincy Loses/Miami Wins: Root for Ravens so still have chance at the Division. Only way Miami would not make playoffs here is if Miami lost to Jets AND Cincy beats Ravens.

Cincy Loses/Miami Loses: Root for NE, so Miami makes playoffs by beating Jets. Otherwise (if Ravens win) Miami must beat Jets AND Ravens must beat Cincy.

If we keep winning I root for every team NE plays against. The only time I root for NE vs Ravens is if we would lose to Buffalo.

Don't even worry about NE blowing the division, they're not losing to Buffalo in Foxboro, just root them for them to win Sunday and then for the Chargers to win and the Bengals to lose.

We need to win two game we are supposed to win and leave it at that.....I can never root for the Pats so that's out of the question......if we let Buffalo sweep us and this Jet team keep us out of the playoffs then we don't deserve to be there......

Guys, do you think the wild card teams that won SB lately never got any help? Or never lost a game in December?
Look at Baltimore, GB, NYG, Pitt etc.
I want to get in mo matter what and then see what happens..Of course I would love to win out and make it easy but damn, that isn't a given

But one thing for sure, after the sissy fit Brady and Belichick made after the loss to us, there is no way they lose to the Ravens. As a matter of fact The Ravens are going to be punished.
