Thing is it always seems to be Peterson that initiates the talk. I don't remember Huizenga or jones brining it up in 2003 when we were shut out with a 10-6 record.

Exactly. I was just about to say that. We went 10-6 and we didn't complaing about more teams in Playoffs. We should have won one more If we wanted to make it in, and so should the Chiefs (this year). Leave the Playoffs the way it is.

It does kind of suck to win 10 games and not make it in. The bad teams would still lose in the playoffs in some more were allowed in. Things work out, the best teams would still make the Superbowl.

Only two ways to do it. Expand the league another 8 teams (gonna take a while) or add two wild cards now, and make seed 1 & 2 in each conference play the first weekend.

While I'm at it, I'd like to see a change in the Playoff seeding picture. Why not give the best seed of the matchup to the victor? Lowly 8-8 squeaks into the playoffs, travels to beat #1 who is 14-2. If they win, they inherit the higher of the two seeds.

i believe in the early 90s someone like the niners missed the playoffs at 11-5

In 1985 the Broncos went 11-5 and missed the playoffs.

The Browns got in that year at 8-8...:sidelol:.

It happens the odd time that a team with a good record misses the playoffs....big deal. Adding playoff teams would cheapen the playoffs.

The NFL is just fine the way it is...every regular season game (usually) means something...keep it that way.

btw, 12 teams is perfect. 16 is too many in the NBA and NHL, 8 is too few in baseball, and 10 and 14 are just weird numbers that shouldn't be discussed. 12 is fine
