Chris Chambers might be interested in reviving his NFL career with the Dolphins

He wasn't very good in his prime. He only caught 48% of the passes thrown to him as a Dolphin with a 6.5 YPA (Ginn had a 6.7). Why on earth would Miami want him now?

While I don't really believe we are in a total rebuild, there are certain instances where you have to try to develop your young guys. If you don't somebody will. The WR core is weak and adding more than 1 shot in the dark over the hill veteran is more harmful than helpful to the progression of the organization. Chambers is not somebody that will do enough for this team this year to make his addition worth taking a spot away from a young guy that probably can be as effective.

are things really that bad in our receiving corps? i hate them and even i dont think so
yes, they are.

well spoken with brains and not heart.. even those (myself included) who would like to see Chambers back, know its a bad idea.

So if we keep 10 - half/he has potential/this yr will be his break out yr/this yr is his comeback yr/we don't need a #1 wr in thisoffense types then does that count as a real 5 wr core?

not for nothin.. 14 YPC average is pretty good.

Wow, our fan base is truly desperate...he looked awful his last year here.

again, not for nothing, but his last year here, 2007, he combined for 68 catches, 1017 yards and almost 15 YPC, although only 4 TD's. The year before that, 2006, yes, he was not very good.

And yet there's people out there who actually tell themselves our group of WR's don't stink... Chris Chambers? And people would actually be ok with it? Sheesh.

Our wr's suck...I bet even Duper, Clayton and Warfield feel like they can come back and be better than what we have here...why wouldn't CC feel that way too?

OJ McDuffie, Marvin Harrison and TO are available, too..any takers? I hope not...

Makes ya wonder how much people really follow football ... then use common sense.

Chris Chambers got old ... went out with an injury ... then retired. Going ... going ... GONE!!!

He's not coming back. He's opening a WR school & drumming up some PR yammering to the gullible!!

He was a good Dolphin ... best to re-sign him 1 day & retire a Dolphin!

The article mentions "reviving" his carrer...could be done, it it were ever "alive" in the first place...

Slow news week eh? Look, I'll never forget that epic Barfalo game in '05. I was sick as a dog that day and that game helped cure me. But the guy is as stone-handed as any other notoriously drop-plagued guy we've had here. Yeah our WR group is weak, but this is no solution.
