Chris Chambers might be interested in reviving his NFL career with the Dolphins

The thing is - what's the difference between Chris Chambers and the rest of the failed receivers who are free agents? Ochocinco was brought in because of his experience as a receiver, as well as his potential to return to somewhat of his old form. Even if Chambers returned to his old form, he wouldn't qualify to be fourth on the depth chart. I loved the guy for the few good games he had in South Florida, but he is of no use to the Dolphins at this point of his career.

I'll take JT, though!

I think I would rather have Warfield, Duper or Clayton

I'm pretty sure Chambers isnt even serious about coming back.

His best year was defined by two good games. Am I the only one who remembers this? I remember him getting a probowl nod that year. I recall thinking to myself that some(more deserving) receiver got screwed.

I am not making excuses for CC, but IIRC, all of the Qb's he played with in Miami were terrible.

I am OK with Chambers competing for a job if he is healthy, but he will have to beat the younger guys fair and square. I am not so sure he will.
It would be a inglorious ending, but at least he can retire as a Miami Dolphin.

I always liked him he had a few issues but why not bring him in to see if he has anything left if he does great if not no harm done.

why not bring him in.didnt ireland want acorns does it matter how long they have been sitting on the ground for.as long as there is a need and a use

I don't think signing him would be a smart move (unless these young receivers really suck in camp). He would be taking a spot away from these guys who have potential.

I used to love chambers but he would drop easy catches wide open but make a one handed circus catch over two defenders in the back of the endzone....chambers never amounted to anything more than an average wr in this league.

Time to let it go, Chris.

Go coach high school kids or something.

imho i think Chambers can still play and play at a pretty high level we dont need a #1 or even need him to be a distraction , all we need him to do is run route plays and he can still get up in the air , imo he is a good route runner , and all we need is him to run those routes and atleast be open on a few plays , and i think he still has a good year left in him , that is if our WRs we have now dosent pan out like we hope.
