Chris Hogan

So you would have rather gone 0-16? Your negativity is so tiresome sometimes

It's simple:

6-10: losing season, no playoffs, pick #8-10 in the draft

1-15: losing season, no playoffs, pick #1 in the draft

One of these is a more disastrous outcome than the other.

Obviously... Duh, no wins or one win is a tragedy of a season, but to pretend Cam didn't save us from being one of the worst teams of all time is just stupid. He saved us from being winless. Give him a little credit.

You said "this kid" so many times WV! But great points on Hogan.

I think he has potential, but who knows. The rest of the team certainly took a liking to him. Who knows what means because production value trumps substance sometimes. I thought the Wallace details were particularly interesting. He could be a better gamer than practice player -- but it looked like he was really struggling to get open, with the feedback of the coaches added to the actual film they showed.

Coach Philbin keeps stressing "consistency" out of his WR and all I've been hearing is how "consistently" Chris Hogan is open and making plays at practice. I think the guy makes the team and surprises some people. By saying he surprises some people doesn't paint him to be next Wes Welker or a pro bowler but he can be a positive contributor.

Finding out about guys like hogan is why I get on this site. I live in Ohio so I don't get to see practices or have easy access to coverage of training camp. Instead of threads about this undrafted free agent who is always open and catches everything, all I get to read are pisssing matches about absolutely nothing important to the success of this football team. Am I not reading the right threads? Can someone who goes to these practices comment on these type of important things, please?

They made Hogan look like a natural.

Hogan is a long shot to make the team. There are lots of guys like him trying to make an nfl team.

i hope he's got more upside than camarillo...otherwise just cut him

How quickly we forget. Camarillo was our super clutch go-to guy in 08. Teams knew penny was going to him on the big 3rd down and could not stop him. He consistently got himself open by running crisp and disciplined routes. Never should have traded him.

it might just be hbo feeling like their feel good project les brown has no shot and introducing us to someone else with a similar i'm just happy to be here story chris hogan...just sayin...anyways give him some run against the 2's at least and see what he's got...catches against camp fodder mean jack squat to me

Jimmy Wilson said flat out he's the best WR / TE we have at getting open Link http://www.miamidolphins.com/media/...n-Studio/6953178c-afbc-4083-acf4-c37562a2c8f9 at 3:52 and that was two weeks ago......so he's already beating 2's

Camarillo saved our franchise from being the 1st winless team. He somehow got open against the Ravens and took it to the house for the game winning score.

Guys like Greg Camarillo is why I always get annoyed at these Randy Moss type players who are lazy. They have all the PHYSICAL gifts, but they don't deserve it. Guys with lesser physical abilities have 10x more football ability.

Why is Roberto Wallace having such a hard time learning how to play WR? It's not even hard.

Stick him in a room for a few days all by himself to watch Barry Sanders and Jerry Rice videos. He will learn the deceptive footwork and hip movements that the greats used to get by guys easily. These tricks still work on anyone.

i don't care for moral victories...they're a waste of time...that one win means jack squat to me...0-16 1-15 3-13 i don't give a damn...

Hard Knocks is a soap opera, and they play up the drama. I'd love for this guy to work out at WR, but we've yet to see a depth chart that DIDN'T have him as one of the last recievers on the roster. He was also on the bottom of the totom pole for the 1st pre-season game. It looks like a nice story now, but objectively you'd have to say is he's still a longshot to be one of the 5-6 guys we keep for the season from this group of WR's, and even after we trim the roster to 53, the bottom two WR's on the roster won't be safe as we may add somebody another team cuts as weak as the talent is at the position for us. Practice squad is far more likely.
