Chris Hogan

Just at least give Hogan a shot with someone other than devlin. All the Wrs competing at least deserve that much.

Hogan had a very good pro day
March 8,2011 Fordham pro day

4.47 40 tied for the best 40 time(would have beat 30 wide receivers at the 2011 combine)
4.15 20 yard shuttle was the fastest time of the day(would have beat 22 receivers at the 2011 combine)
6.75 3 cone drill was the fastest of the day(would have beaten 22 receivers at the 2011 combine)
28 bench presses at 225 lbs(would have been #1 of all receivers at the 2011 combine)

Each of those figures would have put him at, or near, the top of the receivers who worked out at the NFL Scouting Combine.

A great reason to keep this guy on the team is that when he scores a TD at home games they could play this....................

Beats the hell out of Jimmy Buffet's BS.

They could even bring in Gorilla Monsoon just to do the call whenever he scores..... "This crowd of twenty seven thousand ON ITS FEET here at Dolphins Stadium as Chris Hogan has just given the phins a 4th qtr lead"!

Hell they could even play the first couple seconds of it whenever he moves the chains.

WHATCHA GONNA DO!!! Houston Texans, when the quickest feet in the game run wild on YOU???!!!!

Make you wonder assuming I'm correct why didn't he get drafted especially with those stats?

I'm not one to put the cart in front of the horse so I will wait to heap accolades and grandeur on Mr. Hogan but from the limited glimpse you can see of him on Hard Knocks he reminds me of a certain lil' feller who is now playing for a division rival.

Are our new coaches completely stupid? If Hogan is playing really well and they are not moving him up the depth chart then that is exactly what our coaches are....Stupid....I think it's far more likely that the kid is just being way over hyped on Hard Knocks and way to many people are buying into it. Hogan might not even make the team, much less be a big contributor. Sorry everyone

I'm glad that NOW people have noticed that we have a WR named Chris Hogan on this team. I've been trying to talk about him for weeks and and I was told over and over that he "has not done anything yet".

For me, all a WR really has to do is get open and catch the football. And all Hogan does is get open and catch the football.

Because he had 12 receptions as a wide receiver and 3 interceptions in college
Because he played 4 years of lacrosse at Penn State

I'm not drinking the Chris Hogan kool-aid until I see him go up against the 1s

I wonder if Hogan played attack or just midfield (lacrosse), as those hip-shake moves look very similar to an attackman charging the net and getting in shooting position with a d-stick in his face. Between the speed and those hips, it's pretty obvious what kind of athlete he is.
Also, I wonder what 40-time Les Brown ran. If it's fast, then why are they trying to shoe-horn him in at TE? Why not let him compete with WRs? He obviously doesn't have the strength at TE.

Exactly, right now it is a nice story and he shows similarities to some other good players but right now it is nothing more and nothing less than a rookie trying to make the team.
