Would you trade for Chris Johnson?

Why the hell would anybody trade a draft pick for Chris Johnson AND his contract?

No kidding. I assume it would be a trade and restructure though. Either way, hard to imagine anyone being interested in trading for a 29 year old RB no matter what his contract situation was.

-81- McMichael;1065040054 Johnson's got a history of solid and steady production BOTH running and receiving and[B said:
I'm guessing he's got to be better at pass protection than Lamar Miller[/B] (he'll, I could probably pick up the blitz better than Miller).

but he weighs like 26 pounds (maybe a slight exaggeration)......he can pick up a blitz, but what could he do to stop it?

there is no one in this draft like him, if they keep letting NE get people and they don't counter it we will be toast.

Signing players that don't fit your team because they MIGHT go to another team in your division is a recipe for disaster.

This is what I said in VIP forum about it:

Only way we should sign him is if the first year was a prove it year. If he sizzles out this year then we should get the option to let him hit free agency.

No. They will cut him eventually

Just get someone who can carry the fricking rock, and not fumble it (No to NoShow Moreno), and lets not get guys who get hurt all the time. I don't care if it's through free agency or the Draft.

he is a selfish player just say no to CJ not a team player and he tip tows worse than Ronnie Brown used to HEYY i say we bring Ronnie Brown back for a 2 yr reunion tour

Not for a draft pick that's higher than a 5th, and since it's unlikely that TN would agree to that, I'd be happy if the resolution was that of "an immovable object meeting an irresistable force" Not worth a critical pick when we have so few and it's finally Hickey's time to shine on center stage. If we're going diva/headcase, I'd rather sign Blount for less and with no acquisition cost thank you.
