Yes, Trusnik was #3 and what PFF doesn't factor in is that many of these LBs were going against 2's and 3's in offenses that didn't really game plan. I liked McCain's rushing ability, but he was not good in coverage and took some bad angles allowing a few big plays to his side. I'm glad they kept him on the roster as he is worth developing, but he still has a long way to go before being a starter imo.

Well yes..that is what Im saying He is a 3-4 OLB all the way. However, we did draft him, and then proceeded to make matters worse by having him gain a bunch of weight which limits his greatest asset as a football player which was his freakish athletic ability.

i wouldn't be happy with that draft haul...just about all those guys long term projection even is depth and 2nd tier guys...more 2 deep talent than anything else

I think the argument could be made that this year's list of UDFAs is better than last year's draft class.

i've heard that stuff 1000 times...hoskins is too raw right now to be a major contributor and he's gonna have to compete with clay for snaps in 2 tight end sets...i doubt with hoskins being such a raw blocker that he's gonna unseat sims for snaps
maybe if you get a clay injury hoskins may do something more than specific package type duty...otherwise nah...see ya in 2015...that said i like the kids talent it just needs a lot of development and time...and i'm not sure though it's ever a front line nfl tight end...
miamis not gonna be running a lot of sets with clay and hoskins on the field together...

Yeah I'm not saying he'll do much this season and I don't think he will unless maybe if Clay goes down. But watch out for him in the future.

if they ever add a 3rd tight end blocking type i doubt he's even active...they likely sit on him as clay insurance...but still if he plays this year i wouldn't expect clay like production...he's too raw with a lot of his game
right now there is no other 3rd tight end option and so i'm sure he will be active sunday...
