Chris Williams is the UDFA that is going to make the team this year

White is a QB! leave him out of the WR discussions

Be sure to come back here when Williams gets waived.

I just hate it when people come on here acting like they know all and make a bold prediction and then just disappear when the prediction is dead wrong. But you can bet if it's right, you'll see a "told ya so" thread.

So I expect to see you own up to this once Williams doesn't make the team....cus he's not.

As far as bold predictions.....the BILLS will win their season opener. And I'll be here the day after to own my prediction.

when your battling for the last WR spot, its all about special teams... thats what will help Hartline and London make the active roster... my only concern is who is inactive on game days... if you know Bess, Ginn and Cam are, and you want to keep say London and Harline active for their special teams, does that mean Turner is inactive?

i cant see us keeping 6 WRs active on game day...

IMO Hartline will be taking Londons spot on the active roster. I don't think he even makes the tam, much less the active roster.

don't forget that Cam was first and foremost a special teams ace when he came here....if he and Hartline can play ST, then I don't see the need for London....at all.

true but if hes our number 2 WR will he really be doing kick off duty still? especially coming off a knee injury... i dont think theyd want to risk that...

IMO, any football player that's 5'8 is going to have to be twice as impressive as a player that's 6'4, not just better but considerably better. Take into account how this regime dealt with Lorenzo Booker who showed the potential to be rather effective catching balls out of the backfield. Granted, that position situation is different altogether but they didn't even give the kid a shot because at 5'8 it's got to be great not just effective.

I'd hypothesize that London is a lock aswell. He's got worlds of talent with game time and playbook experience to boot. If I were a head coach, and obviously I'm just an average joe fan, but if I were a head coach I'd have to ask myself why I'd supplant talent, size, and experience for anything less than possible greatness.

London is more potential than talent....dude played 14 games and caught 3 balls? Why are people so impressed?!?

London is far from a lock to make the team. Ginn, Camarillo, Bess, Turner those guys are the only sure things at WR.

Every once in a while a player will emerge from somewhere with the "wrong" physical dimensions but with such incredible speed and/or tenacity to become a star.
When undrafted Wes Welker got the chop from San Diego and was picked up off the scrap-heap by Miami, my immediate reaction was that he looks too short to make it, next... When Greg Camarillo got the chop from San Diego and was picked up by Miami, my immediate reaction was that he didn't look like a big-time wide receiver, next... When Davone Bess was picked up as an undrafted free agent after every team in the NFL rejected him in the 2008 draft, my reaction was that he is probably too slow and isn't 6' 4", next... Well the good news is that I was absolutely wrong on all of those occasions. Sometimes it is good to have an open mind and not fixate on "ideal" dimensions/appearance. Sometimes a gutsy little scrapper will be a better investment than the pretty boy with the prototypical size and high potential.
Chris Williams has probably been told by everyone since he was 10 or 12 years old that he is too small to make it as a professional footballer, why not try soccer. But he has played the game to the best of his ability and consistently succeeded to date. Who knows? - he just might defy the odds.

Tryed looking up the 1 on 1 video for you but it's been removed from youtube. The guy definitely has talent.

You're right though, it only counts at game time. I doubt Pennington was often looking in his direction but the regime did go ahead and draft 2 WR early in back to back rounds which didn't exactly make sense to me and doesn't exactly give him any kind of endorsement.

Precisely.

IMO, since I'm just a fan.

They will create a lot of BUZZ about London ... and they will TRADE London. Turner and Hartline's development will render London expendible. Several teams applied for claim when NY waved him, so there's interest in the kid.

Williams would have to be INCREDIBLE to stick because of his size.
