CK Reviews our Draft with the Finsiders

C.K., I also was in love with Weeden. I'll bet he steps right in and makes Cleveland a better team. Hopefully Tannehill will make Dolphin fans very happy shortly down the road. The staff is quite sure he's the right pick and who knows more about the guy than Sherman. I am hopeful for a better start out of the gate this year so we can have passion once again for our team. 0-7 almost killed me dead so here's to better days ahead!!

The voice sounded a little bit like Sid Rosenberg...lol..seriously though, I like the way CK thinks and I agree with his evaluations most of the time.

I also loved the lamar miller pick. I have no idea why anybody has bad to say about this dude, unless they are nitpicking. 1200 yards while being banged up, thats pretty impressive.

I also loved the first five picks. i was basically ****ting my pants the first couple days as we were nabbing these guys off the board. Nice to hear CK's insight on rishard matthews, as I hadn't seen or heard much about the kid. Nice to know matthews runs a damn good out route, as I saw tannehill throw a lot of outs last year, and I suspect we will see a bunch of them in the phins offense.

loved his insight on lamar miller. spot on, on your ananlysis of miller. a homerun in the third day. couldn't have said it better myself.

we seemed to get a bunch of athletic football guys. this draft has me thining a lot like ck... B+ right now, perhaps even an A-... hopefully the same grade down the road.

CK, I know your a homey to us but I would much rather listen to what you have to say than most any other media so called expert. The bias is so bad out there its a joke. I know you were good with this draft, but even if you were not, I can sense your conviction and you actually do not sound all puffed up and are straight up. Its refreshing.

I hope you go high places!

Good job CK - glad to hear that you are very high on Lamar. For some reason I thought you would have a British accent...don't know why I thought that.

Chris is a Florida guy, from the Tampa area I think. You're thimkimg of Boomer (Simon) who is from England.
And by the way Chris....Great job!

Yep....that's who I was thinking of....

Whoa....just watched Jonas Gray highlights....big kid, nice burst, nice cuts, nice stiff arm, thick legs, and Michigan kids are always tough. Looks like he could be a player.

Very impressive by CK but I thought the interviewing was weak. Nine minutes was plenty of time to ask for quick impressions of every draftee, or at least all the early ones. CK was immensely well prepared, as always, but they were not. It wouldn't have been difficult to isolate some of CK's most specific and unique written points of view on the prime Dolphin picks and ask a related question.

I guess I'm just not a fan of the, "What's your favorite color?" type of questioning, which is what we got here.

I agree the voice did seem a bit different -- older -- than last year on NFL Network. I wasn't posting anywhere Dolphin-related at the time but I happened to catch that segment on Mallett, or at least most of it. That was a riot, the way Baldinger kept trying to bait CK into an argument but CKparriedit effortlessly, and always with a grin. Then at the end Baldinger seemed frustrated it hadn't escalated further and CK signed off with a calm, "Thanks for having me," or something along those lines.

Not exactly what I experienced on Las Vegas radio, when our producer Gene always joked that he could handicap only one thing well -- which combination of guests would require him to abuse the 7 second delay.

Thanks! i was waiting for this! We dont get much NCAA action here in MTL so when it comes to the draf, I have to rely on other people's opinion alot more, CK, Hoos, slimm surely are at the top of my list when it comes to reliable information...

Good interview, nice to see them picking up interviews with guys who actually spend a lot of time focusing on our squad. Well done, CK.
