Clay on his huge TD

Keep in mind this time last year everyone considered this guy a bum, crazy what a little patience and opportunitiy can provide.

Speak for yourself lol. I've been pretty adamant that I felt a huge reason for offensive struggles last year was that we weren't using Clay right. Yeah he had some struggles picking up the playbook and with drops, but I felt we spent too much time last year trying to make him into a pure TE. While he didn't have big numbers his rookie year, he showed glimpses of being a matchup problem. I felt Tannehill found his best groove last year when we started splitting Clay out (and it worked until he got hurt).

Clay lined up at TE or FB or RB is a great mismatch on all levels.
Once they solidify the OL - it will be a good offense.
Wallace draw the attention which opens it up. and if he don't they hit him.
Hartline - Wallace - Miller - Clay and Gibson or Keller or Matthews is a lot of different skill sets an options for Sherman and Ryan !

Clay's biggest problem has been the drops, IMO. He really hurt us in some earlier games by flat out dropping the football on some plays where we desperately needed the yards. If he's over that... he's a real weapon.

It's like night and day with what Clay was last year and this year. He doesn't drop all kinds of passes now like he did last year. He breaks tackles and makes big plays. I don't think any of us expected this out of him. He's caught 60 passes already.
