How has nobody noted that the Lions are desperate for a RB? Their roster includes:
Kevin Smith, Maurice Morris, Cedric Peerman, DeDe Dorsey, and Aaron Brown. Smith is their top back but he is recovering from a torn ACL and a separated shoulder. Due to his injuries he is a question mark to start the season. Perhaps the Lions feel they are better off trading for the likes of Cobbs or Hilliard and keeping their draft picks than picking up a back in the draft. The Lions have so many needs that I doubt they are willing to draft a RB in the top 3 rounds. Cobbs or Hilliard would be a better play opening day than a 4th round (or lower) rookie. If the Dolphins do make a trade with the Lions expect one of our RB's to be involved.
