I like a lot of our rookies. Give them some time to develop and we should be good. Egnew at TE, RT at QB, a new RT (anyone over Colombo), and Miller will hopefully be able to replace Bush if we let him walk

If you really are a Dolphins fan, I'm guessing you understand just how important a good QB can make an average team.
Are you insinuating the reason that U of M has sucked since...well, since forever is due to the QB position?
There are lots of contributing factors.
Primary culprit of our phuckery on the field is Randy Shannon.
Off the field he might be our saving grace thru all of this investigation nonsense.
Jacory Harris was master of the arm punt. Kyle Wright was a five-star recruit out of Southern California. He was supposed to be everything that you're seeing Matt Barkley become at the college level. He was AWFUL.
Kirby Freeman, his backup at one point, had quite possibly the WORST college QB game against North Carolina State one year that I think I have ever witnessed with my eyeballs.
The QB position at Miami has been horrendous. And if you really want to go back further, Ken Dorsey wasn't that great either. He was the beneficiary of NFL level talent at every single position on offense during his time at Miami.
Had we even had average QB play these past six seasons we would have won two more games each season.
So true. Harris was a pick machine until his senior year and even then his best play was " Tommy go long ". or hand it to Miller.
Tommy go long lolol.
So effing true.
Dude thought he was still at Miami Northwestern lobbing those lame ducks up there for Streeter.
That was Jacory's problem from the start. He had all the talent in the world around him in high school.
Dude would just toss up prayers and let Streeter and Johnson go snag it away from the shorter and smaller defenders holding DII scholarships to truck driving academies.

My point is, especially at the collegiate level, when did a top-notch QB mean that much?
Sure, Luck and Barkley last year, but year in and year out, by far, the best teams in NCAA do NOT have a solid QB.
They don't have great NFL prospects but they have great SYSTEM QBs for the most part.
They being Miami or other teams?
I would say that 8 of the last 10 National Champs had QB's that were right there with the list of Ex-Canes you posted.
How many times do we see the Heisman Trophy QB amount to a pile of absolutely NOTHING in the Pro's?
Back to the article and on topic. IF we got these potential first rounders, why didn't the Hurricanes do better than they did? Golden is cutting his own throat with such an absurd comment.
How many times do we see a Heisman winner actually deserve to win it lol.
8 of the last 10 were not on par with Jacory Harris or Kyle Wright. Talk about absurd comments.
Like I said, those guys that won with their teams were in the right system. Jacory was never anything beyond a high school QB.
Craig Krenzel and JaMarcus Russell were trash QBs, but they were damn good in college.
They being Miami or other teams?

Absurd? You are VERY good at throwing backhanded fingers at people.
Lets see:
2011- Alabama, AJ McCarron?
2010-Auburn, Cam Newton (Okay, I'll give you this one)
2009-Alabama Mcelroy????
2008-Florida Tim Tebow?
2007-LSU Matt Flynn?
2006-Flrodia Chris Leak???????
2005-Texas-Young
2004-USC Matt Leinart?
2003-LSU JaFat Russell
2002-OSU- Matt Krenzel?
2001-U of M-Ken Dorsey
I can go back farther and start including all the Oklahoma, Nebraska and Penn State teams to make my point even more vivid.
Just because you didn't say it doesn't mean its absurd.
