But now to Flores' benefit, if he really did have the balls to tell Ross and Grier to their faces that they're the one constant in all of the Dolphins' failings, the man is awesome in my opinion. He's not a good HC, but he has potential to be a good DC some day.

I defend Tua constantly out here in non-forum land and EVEN HATERS point out when he looks good. The rightwing-like nut, “America is not America without a confederate flag”, unapologetic Tua fan in here see’s Tua throw a bad pass and states the center sneezed. No, wait. His mother slapped him in the arms once in practice while throwing a similar pass so it’s her fault for traumatizing him on that particular route. Or the 12 gods atop Olympus are obviously conspiring against him.

“Oh, Marino13, why are you such a hater?” Gee, I don’t know one of the many voices inside my head. Maybe it’s because they’re so exasperating that now it’s F@CK THE MIAMI DOLPHINS. It’s find a head coach for Tua. All of the sudden, it’s forget a GM that can draft/sign a competent Oline. It’s stick with the GM that’ll stick with Tua.

How far can y’all take this? Hopefully far enough that you’ll move along with Tua when he moves along from the Phins.

As for these interviews, I hope they’re a joke. But I guess it doesn’t matter as we always turn out to be the punchline.

I’ve tried to see the best in all these mentioned candidates but this is literally the worst list of possible head coaches I can ever remember. I mean seriously Kellen Moore? What’s he done to be deserving of a head coach? All Dallas fans hate him. He’s not ready. Quinn drove the Falcons into mediocrity with a LOADED Atlanta offense at the time. Yes he took them to the super bowl. That’s a check in his box I guess but ultimately failed after that. Vance Joseph was pitiful as our DC. Nearly everyone on this board celebrated when he left us. Then was awful at Denver as a HC. Dabol is being considered based off his work with Tua. That’s it. He’s been good in Buffalo but josh Allen makes that team. Tua isn’t and will never be Josh Allen. McDaniel may be ok but the guy looks like a computer salesman. He probably knows offense but can this guy really get an nfl team to respond to him? As crazy as that sounds I don’t see him being able to come into the lockeroom and command a room full of NFL personalities. Leslie Frazier sucked in Minnesota. We all know McDermit is behind that D in Buffalo. I really don’t know about this situation. I’m not saying Flores was great but he’s actually better than all those guys. At this point I’d almost be on board with Davis from the Rams. Atleast he’s not been a failure somewhere and run out of town. We are so close to getting over the hump. Just a QB away from being contenders even with this Oline. Burrow doesn’t have a great line but he makes plays along with some others in the playoffs now. This franchise is going to be in shambles. We are basically going to hire someone who supports Tua. Then when Tua is average again next year we’ve hired someone just to suit him! Someone please talk me off the ledge

I want a HEAD COACH!!! Our next hire should be a VETERAN EXPERIENCED HEAD COACH. Enough of these damn coordinators! I want Pederson, Caldwell, Harbaugh, or Quinn. These men have been HEAD COACHES and have success in running an NFL team. They can all assemble a great staff. We all want to win a SUPER BOWL these men can get us a ring. Not Coordinators!

Trying to avoid research here - anyone recall the sentiment about Quinn when he exited ATL? I know for a couple of years he was really well liked and respected. They had the superbowl collapse vs. NE, and it seemed to go downhill after that. Then, Dallas actually took a lot of heat from experts who questioned how he could make their defense better when his in ATL completely fell apart. Just trying to wade through the facts here, and particularly, what did he do wrong in ATL and what are his strengths? Just Def?

His background is on the defensive side of the ball. Starting out as an asst DL coach with Miami many years ago. But what seems to be his strength, is his ability to put together a solid staff to work with him. Ross mentioned in his PC after firing Flores, about having relationships. Quinn has built relationships all around the league.
