Cole: Dolphins will part ways with Incognito

At this point it seems exceedingly likely that Ross will wash this entire front team. He looks very likely to get a new GM, which almost certainly means a new head coach who will bring in an entirely new coaching staff and do another near complete turnover of the roster. Guys like Ryan Tannehill, Lamar Miller, Dion Jordan, Jared Odrick and a handful of others will stay. But, in 2 years I wouldn't be surprised if only 10 players remained from this team.

Incognito was always leaving after this season. Ireland signed him to a big ballooning contract with a huge number for next year. Even if he had been a choir boy and this catastrophe never happened we probably wouldn't have had Incognito back. He isn't without blame, but it does seem that he has been thrown under the bus with this and likely it will cost him a LOT of money wherever he lands as a free agent. But, an NFL team will definitely pick up Incognito. I doubt anyone picks up Martin if the Dolphins feel safe enough to let him go. They may hold on to Martin just to keep him muzzled a bit on this franchise-wrecking matter. It's stuff like this that makes me uneasy that we're doing yet another London game in 2014 ... the situation in South Florida is less than ideal.

Wow, what an earth-shattering article. It's hard to believe it could be considered 'work' for someone to basically say 'hey some guy I know said Richie Incognito is toast'. Yeah? Who cares. He hasn't been around for a while anyway and it's still the same old results. Is there a single player on this team that we couldn't afford to lose anyway? Brandon Fields maybe?

Hate to say it, but kizzaboo was actually correct. The way your title was worded, inferred the Dolphins will part ways with Incognito, and that as a reporter Cole received that specific information, when in reality, it's just more speculation. It was basically his source shrugging and saying, it's highly unlikely it'll happen.

The way he out it means it's according to Cole.

Which the article was his "source", hence the title.

What article?

The thread title is quoting Jason Cole's twitter. An appropriate thread title would have been

Cole's Source: "Shocked" if Phins keep Incognito.

Cole's Source did not say the Dolphins 'will' do anything. He just said he would be surprised if Incognito sticks around. No read the thread title. Its silly.

Nah, doesn't matter..

The title states that it's from Cole. Besides does it matter? Not really.

Ireland and Incognito have an equal chance at getting cut

Yet despite more damning evidence and institutional cover-ups and witness suppression, InFamous Jameis is allowed to continue to complete and much of a hypocritical network is preaching "due process" on his active status and candidacy for the Heisman. Wonder why that is :idk:

Mando has been reporting this all along. Cole is sooooo connected. It is a bad move to cut him. It will have a negative impact on the team.
Why do you say that? I'm pretty sure everyone in that locker room knows he's as good as gone. And I don't see any "negative impact", in fact, it may well be positive.
