Depends on what we trade. There's a not to mentioned by name dt that's gonna cost more than JT next year.Me too. Trading for Taylor would cost Miami Seiler and others.

NoWould this move ruin any chance of signing Christian Wilkins to a huge contract extension?
100% they will not trade Sieler. No dline depth as it is.Me too. Trading for Taylor would cost Miami Seiler and others.
if we had traded for JT then there's no way we'd have drafted any RB imoI actually view Achane as the perfect complimentary back to a Jonathan Taylor type workhorse. Couldn’t think of a better fitting role for him, actually.
He was a third round pick. It’s okay to get “role player” value there, IMO. Primary return man, change of pace back, dynamic receiving back, and a threat every time he touches the ball….. he doesn’t have to be a feature back/RB1 for that to go down as a solid pick.
No we’re not parting with Wilkins for Taylor, bet moneyWould be great if Greer can make something like that happen, but I don’t think the Colts would let Taylor go for anything less than a 1st round pick plus more. Maybe including Wilkins plus a lower pick in the draft? Would hate parting with Wilkins, but Taylor is one special player.
I think they'll be able to resign CW no matter what but if it came down to Taylor and Seiler sign me up for some all-pro RB to put this offense into ludicrous speed. The FO has shown they don't have problems finding d-line talent.Me too. Trading for Taylor would cost Miami Seiler and others.
That's like getting Filet Mignon for a handful of bird seed and some marbles!Wilson, Mostert, Wilson, and a 3rd and they can have Eich as well
might not take high picks but it'll cost a lot of moneyI don't look at it this way. I think they look at it as a way to improve the roster. Just like the Tyreek trade after they signed Wilson. Sometimes you have to play with the hand your dealt and other times you're allowed to throw in some cards and get new ones.
Imagine if the Phins could pull off a deal like they did for Ramsey. It may not take as much as people think to get Taylor. I'm thinking Cedric Wilson (their WR's are crap), Jeff Wilson (outside of Taylor their RB's are crap) and maybe an ascending secondary player (their CB's are crap).
like I replied to somebody else, if they had traded for JT there's no way we'd have drafted a RBNo. If anything they made a mistake re-signing Moestert and Wilson so quick.
It’s not..I’m not sure if trading for one of the top RBs in the league today is an admission that we made a mistake with our 3rd round pick, who we have been using so far as our starting kick returner, in a RB room full of one year contracts.
I think that was his intention all along!Haha, take all the bad contracts.
Chris Grier would like to remind you he traded a 4th and a never will be TE (I can't even remember his name) for Jalen Ramsey. That's like getting Filet Mignon for a handful of bird seed and some marbles!
That’s what I said. And a new massive contract1st round pick OR a collection of picks that value a first.
