Colts give Jonathan Taylor permission to be Traded

Not rocket science at all but certainly not easier than having someone else do it. I am always in Virginia and the Carolinas and pump a lot of gas. The smell on my hands is not missed when I get back to NJ. Do I really care most times, No, but my wife hates the smell of gas on my hands and that's even after using wipes, hand lotion etc. If going home it's no big deal but heading out is a bit of an issue. It's what you are used to. Lastly, the safety of not having my daughter and wife gas up alone without an attendant is priceless.
I guess I am better about not spilling gas on my hands. Because I have very rarely experienced the smell of gas on my hands after pumping gas. In fact the smell of gas after getting into my car after filling up has never even occurred to be until you mentioned it.

I just ask my wife if my hands smell like gas after I fill up at the gas station and she told me she has never noticed
a smell of gas. So maybe you should just be more careful and not let the gas splash back once the tank is full.

As soon as discussion strays from the headline, end the thread. Gas pumping, etc., everything in the Dalvin Cook thread, and so on; take it somewhere else. Please!
I hope Miami gets JT.
I will be glad to take it back to the JT discussion once there is something to actually discuss. The possible trade seems to be at a standstill right now and nothing has been reported about him coming to Miami in the last 24 hours.

If you have an update on the trade, please post it. Until then pumping gas is at least something that we know is still happening. LOL

I think I do it properly, I was a gas attendant in my hs years. Maybe my wife has a better nose than yours does or you are just better than me at pumping. For the same cost, I prefer to have someone do it for me. Pretty simple but unless your from NJ I doubt you'd get it.

I'd hope so but last year we fell in love with going deep....also fell behind often so we had to throw it but yes, I want more balance
McD himself apologized to Mostert for not running the ball more. We heard from one of our insiders in the Club that running the ball more was specifically discussed with McD at what seemed to amount to his annual review. We've been linked to every vet RB on or potentially on the market. Some here want to pretend it's just people making things up, but several offers have been confirmed. Running the ball more is clearly one of this team's top priorities.

Additionally, if you look at the history of Shanahan offenses, you tend to see a jump in run game efficiency in year 2. My feeling is that McD anticipated this. He's talked about the OL improvement in specific terms (timing, reaching landmarks, etc.). I think he's banking on this to improve their balance. Now obviously with Hill and Waddle, we should pass a ton. But if you had JT then the talent discrepancy between WR talent and the RB talent isn't as stark.

Forty years of pumping gas and owning 4 cars now have made me an expert gas pumper. I pump gas for all the cars and I will assure you my wife can smell an offensive odor from across the room.

My wife is from New Jersey. So I am aware of the law in your state. When we visit NJ, the first time I go a gas station I always find myself opening the door to pump gas before remembering I can’t in NJ.

See Mach.. you do this in your responses.

I NEVER said any upgrade at any price.

You move the goal post in your responses and you don't respond to the post in its entirety.

So sorry, if you're going to misrepresent my opinion and start putting words in my mouth, or post... it's really not worth discussing this with you further.
What words did I "put in your mouth"?

You said it doesn't matter the position, when it clearly does when you consider cost v value.

You said you can argue several different scenarios, and while that's true on an individual basis, it is not necessarily true for a large sample size.

Then, you respond to @XxJustinxX 's comment of "If we can actually obtain a player of his caliber for future picks, it's a no brainer to make the move" with "thanks for understanding what I was saying".

Which part did I misinterpret again? It is not a "no brainer". It is a matter of opinion on the investment/risk/potential reward of the specific situation. That's what I meant when I said that kind of blanket statement is a complete oversimplification.

I too am sorry if you took offense. I simply do not agree with your premise. It is not logical to me.

Just exactly what are you in charge of around here again?..........lol

I for one believe that the Dolphins are always looking to upgrade at the RB position. Yet I also believe they have no interest in overpaying in money or draft picks just to bring in another higher tier RB.

They proved that by refusing to overpay for Cook, even though he obviously wanted to play in his hometown.
‘They would obviously like Taylor on the team but again it doesn’t appear they are willing to trade away the type of draft picks that the Colts are demanding at this time.

Perhaps they will eventually work out an agreement with the Colts but if they don’t, I think they are a lot more comfortable going into the season with the RB’s they now have on the roster than some posters on here seem to be.

I already told you.

I never said any upgrade at any price.

My exact quote was:
"At the end of the day, the only thing I know for sure, is adding a player that makes the team better, or upgrading a position makes this team MORE likely to compete for a superbowl"

So anything else you are adding or arguing is coming from your own misinterpretation.

Also, passive aggressive posting doesn't work on me.

So I ask you. How is my ACTUAL quote and ACTUAL words not logical?

In high school, I worked at Chevron as a petroleum transfer engineer.

Smelling like gas could get you fired...

I agree and a large part of me thinks we are more than adequate at the rb position and really deep.
