come on brian daboll...don't screw this up

Miami hasn't had a playmaker with this kind of acceleration . . . hell maybe never. Ted Ginn had that build up speed, but this guy has the acceleration and the shiftiness to boot. He could bust, but got damn it i'm glad we rolled the dice on this kind of talent . . . hopefully the trade compensation (which for some reason still hasn't been disclosed) is as low as we all hope it is, but either way, I'm glad Jeff is taking a chance on the guy. Use him right Daboll, use him right.

guys...i've watched a lot of tape in my life...and i've never seen that kind of acceleration when a guy puts his foot in the ground and heads north and south...its simply phenomenal

That's waz up. Can't wait for the season!

Love his emotion too.. we haven't seen too much of that in the backfield lately

hoops, did you watch any of him from last season? I'm hoping he still has the same kind of burst that he's been known to have.

He's an extremely gifted athlete, and that needs to be utilized. He's a defensive coordinator's nightmare, and I hope he can be more than a "decoy" with us. Daboll is gonna have a lot of interesting gadgets to work with, and I have faith he'll take advantage of em. He destroyed the Pats with Hillis, and I hope he can do the same with a Bush/Thomas combo.

and you know i watch the way the saints used him a lot just out of the backfield and running a very vanilla sit down under coverage like any other receiever out of the backfield and then make people miss once he has the ball and think to myself this guy can do so much more as a pass catcher...there's untapped potential here that never got used in new orleans...i don't think there's a lb in the league who can stay with him down the field...man if we use him right and limit his touches he's gonna do damage

but that acceleration...my jaw hits the floor

One thing I just thought about was that since Henne is Captain Check Down, Bush should get the ball with some space most of the time. That's the area in which he specializes I think is when he has a little bit of open field in front of him to make a defender or two miss. It should be exciting to see how he is used though!

i used to make it my duty to watch him early in his career...and last season i saw him plenty...and to my knowledge yeah he's been injured and all thru his career but i don't recall any kind of debilitating injury where i would think he'd lose his acceleration and burst...kid came out like 21 years old what's he 26 now??? 2 year deal...he's in his prime as far as i'm concerned...we haven't had any one who could move like this in a long time i know that...ted ginn like kdawg said was all build up speed...this kid comes out of the starters gate like a damn clydesdale...he's a freaking freak

Again.... no brainer.

slimm...seriously...you ever seen that kind of acceleration??? i keep hearing people say percy harvin has that kind of burst and i know he's a legit burner but this kid north and south it's another level if you ask me

wait a minute...for some reason microfracture surgery just came to me...i seem to recall something like that...time to look at 2010 tape

I've watched a bunch of highlight videos since the trade, but this one shows the main reasons why I think they went out and got him.

1. That acceleration is ridiculous. Everyone always says "big deal it's a highlight vid!!!" but, when it comes to going 0-60...this video shows why I think he is the best in that category. I haven't seen that in the 20 years I've been watching our games.

2. We're supposed to be running a "Patriots/Jets" offense...to me, that means spread 'em out and make quick short, throws that get your guy in space...already on the move. I do not think there's a player that would fit that type of offense better.

3. He's hungry for the endzone. If he gets around the 7 yard line, it's as if he'd do anything to get there. I'm used to seeing guys get taken down on the 5 as if they don't care to fight to score a TD. Bush will jump from the 5 yard line, clearing everyone in his way. Pretty excited to see how he looks in the new O.
