Yeah, I really don't care what you asked for. I gave my opinion on the relationship between Ireland and Philbin based on what I have seen and you ask for a link. :bobdole: Well, I gave you one. And go ahead and take Omar's "investigation" and opinion over mine.

But hey, maybe you're right. Egnew, Jordan, and Thomas are all great fits. Too great, in fact. It just wouldn't be fair to the rest of the league to play them more often.

I disagree I think that they are good fits maybe just not good players except for Jordan. That being said Egnew whom along with you I was writing off and throwing under the bus early this year has performed much better than anticipated blocking of all things and yeas he has caught a couple of balls. I know at one point Clay and Msi were being written off around here. It will be extremely interesting to see how Dallas Thomas fares as while he fits the schemes he just got punched around in preseason. So IMO Jordan is a keeper, Egnew is roster worthy this year and Dallas Thomas this year today I agree with you.

And yet none of them are playing any significant time, including the 3rd overall pick in the draft and a TE and OG, which both happen to be areas of need. Nevermind the fact that it is pretty clear (sorry, no links, it's common knowledge at this point) that they want TEs that can block, so it makes total sense to draft a TE that can't block worth a ****. Definitely sounds like a good fit to me. As for Jordan, I like him, but again, if he's such a good fit for the system, why isn't he playing? His shoulder appears to be fine now (if it isn't, well, it's just another injured player drafted by Ireland). So, what's the deal? That being said, Jordan is really the least of my issues with Ireland.

Good coaches can turn such players into serviceable parts of their system, but that's about it. But keep looking for that silver lining and pointing out one or two players that end up working out over the MANY that don't. And we won't even get into his FA blunders (sorry, Grimes, who remains unsigned for next year, doesn't make up for the many errors).
