Concerning Statistics

Will Ferrel's response to your rant:

Feel better now? :)

Are you going to the game this Sunday? My family is originally from Cocoa Beach and I know you are not far from Miami. If not, then you are part of the problem and I stand by my prior statements. If you are, then I commend you as my prior statement was not meant for you.

It looks like we're guaranteed another thread blaming the fans if they lose.

There definitely will be one and it won't be the fans fault if they lose. The game is played between the lines. But those who say that fans can't give the home team a distinct advantage with deafening crowd noise, while giving the home team an extra adrenaline rush from the electric environment of people cheering them on to win don't have a clue.

Nope, not going to the game. Ironically I am in New England (New Hampshire) staying with family for the month.

Good for the pats fans thta live down here that want to see their team which has dominated the league for more than 10 years. Good for them to fill the stands.

By the way I'm a 2 time season ticket holder and I've bought rhe 4 game packs as well. Guess what i got out of it...... 7-9, 7-9, 6-10.

Im not a big drinker nor do i go to the stadium for the "experience". You do the math where I stand on the south fl fans suck thing.

So what your telling me is that you abandoned your team because they were playing bad in the past and are now holding it against them when they are playing better? Sounds logically like a fair weather fan to me.

Enjoy the snow and cold via a sledding, snowmobiling or ice skating excursion (just don't forget the schnapps). It'll make you tougher and help you appreciate just how nice living in S. FLA is.

no we have another thread that shows we'll blame the refs

Not everyone, I am sure some fans (as yourself) will do the see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil impersonation, and just look away when something not so kosher occurs.

Stop bitching about stupidity. The real loyal Miami fan base is in Miami Dade county but they placed the stadium next to Hollywood, Florida. I love the dolphins but the drive to the stadium on game days is almost an hour long just because of the distance and I live close to the stadium compared to most. Most people who move from up north move to Hollywood, Ft. Lauderdale, and the Davie area next to the stadium because of cheaper real estate prices. All this bundled together is the real reason why Miami fans don't go to games.

P.S. - an hour drive isn't long to watch the dolphins play live for a real fan, but not everyone is as big a Miami fan as everyone on this website.

Just a question, but which NFL stadium is there that it doesn't take at least an hour to drive there on game day? Traffic is horrible at all of them. Hell, I live less than 5 miles from Target Center (T-Wolves), Target Field (Twins) and the Metrodome (Vikings) and they all take over 45 minutes to drive to on game day. So I don't buy that excuse one bit.

South fl. fans suck lol.

check out the white washed heat games with a bunch of people who have no clue whats going on.

We packed GIANTS stadium with NY/NJ phins fans who are home grown NJ/NY people, although the team tried to spin it as if people traveled. i have fam down there and a house in South fl, and i go to a game a year, plus a practice or 2, and a pre-season game, plus a game up here a year.

and im at every Rutgers game, whether they suck or not ( horrible this year) cold, rain,s hine whatever.

also sick of hearing about how "this is south fl we have more to do"

NEWS FLASH - NO YOU DONT

we have more to do. Places to eat, awesome bars, events, several other sports teams, etc etc etc.

and dont get me started on transplants. you know how many bars for random colleges exist in NYC bc we have so many "transplants"

enough already, just get to the damn game and have some fun.

Its always funny watching a Habs game in florida near the holidays... If you don't pay attention, you`ll think its a home game for the Habs... Florida is packed with people running away from winter... Hell this is how I became a Fins fan, my grand parents use to own a condo in Pompano so I was kind of half raised there and it was in the 80s with Marino and Shula... Cant blme the florida fans for this game as people all over the place plan to go there during the holidays anyways...

half the people who live in ft. Lauderdale/Miami are from new York/boston....
