Confirmed-Ferotte is horrible

Gee if someone is so afraid to get hit in a game called Football maybe he should play something else?

Apparently you didn't watch the 2002 Denver game where Chambers got knocked cold by a hit over the middle cause of a high pass. Thank God Chambers isn't afraid of taking those hits, cause he really has every right to be after that one derailed his season. It's the Qb's job not to put the reciever in a position where he could be seriously injured trying to make a catch.

i too am watchingthe game and Ican count at least 5 passes that should of been cought. definately not Frerottes fault.

I agree, before people post threads they should warn people that they are blind.

As if Feeley wouldnt have fumbled that? are you kidding me? get real dude.

But that is the point, if AJ was that qb you and others would lambaste him for it yet make excuses for Gus. You get real dude

That statement works both ways or are you not reading?

While I think AJ played better, McMike had 3 drops and Morris one. Add those and Gus has more yards.

Feeley had 3WR drop the ball and fumbles by Morris,Minor,Mann

Watching the rebroadcast this guy is making bad decisions throwing behind recievers..
Steelers would have 2 INTs so far 1 was droped and another one the DB couldnt keep is right foot inbounds...
He already had a fumble returned for a TD...
The guys arm is worst than Fiedlers:eek: and less accurate..(IM not exagerating)

Every long ball hes has thrown has been a LOB and its a contest between WR and DB to see who adjust...

Confirmed........Pitt has the best Defense in the NFL. Gave up less yards than anyone last year.

As I said, I thought AJ played better, but 16 completions and not having 100 yards??? We need to draft a QB! In the long run, both will not do.

You're probably right, but at this point Frerotte's play has been extremely unstable, and I trust AJ to move the ball more than him because at least he can complete a pass. He didn't play great last week, but he wasn't as bad as people made it sound, he actually had some nice completions. Frerotte has had two horrible games, and he is supposed to be getting the job because he is familiar with the system? That scares me.

i did watch last weeks game..
Overthrowing a 10yrd pass pattern isnt exactly throwing the ball deep..

Timing? I thought he knew System...

42 yards to welker is pretty deep if you ask me.

yeah, how funny would that be if chambers had gotten seriously injured last week when frerotte hung him out to dry over the middle? the worst part about it is gus said laughingly in an interview "yeah he got nailed." like it didn't even bother him.

Its football people are going to get hit........he didnt intentioanlly throw it so Chambers would get hurt he was was flushed out of the pocket and had to make the ball fit and he did.

I agree the yards needs to improve. I am also not convinced AJ will produce. But I am happy with the progress he has made. He still locks on receivers but has improved, he looked panicked under pressure teh 1st 2 games but looked much more comfortable last nite. Steps of progression. It appeared to me that AJ didnt press last nite, he took what he could get and was learning, not trying to make teh big play every play. All things that bode well for him IMO. I believe no matter who starts, unless one really shines, Saban goes after a qb next ofseason either thru trade, FA or draft. Or unless he really likes Berlin.

But that doesnt change teh fact that AJ has made progress, whether it is enough is teh question and ONLY Saban can give teh answer to that since it is his decision.

you trust AJ to move the ball when he still has not led his offense to any points at all?
