Really wish you and a few others on this board would apply this logic to your own team. The Chiefs o-line was the biggest problem. They couldn't block anybody. It reminded me of the Chiefs-Bucs Super Bowl where the Bucs dominated the line of scrimmage. It doesn't matter who your QB is because if you have a bad o-line the offense will not be able to function.
Yean, specially when almost in the entire 4th quarter your beloved injury prone 5’11 qb wasnt able to gain a single first down and during that entire game his drives where mostly done by defense key stops, ffs and interceptions.Yeah especially during the last 4 mins of the Tennessee game that screwed the pooch.
I don't think so.
This Superbowl really showed that football is at its best - a team sport. - LOL
It’s both but I’ve been saying for two solid years calling him out.Is he really? Or does the cancer start at the top and spreads to the players?
True but the culture of toughness played a HUGE part in the success of the Eagles...quite the opposite of the Dolphins. Personnel wise, Grier is responsible for undervaluing both the OL and DL where Philly DOMINATED in the SB.It worked because he has a defense loaded with talented players. Finishing 10th in total yards last season was more impressive than finishing 1st this season when one considers the difference in talent and injuries to key personnel.
I can.
He took their money(highest paid assistant in the League) and acted like a A-Hole, forced his way out of town and got the job he wanted and a Super Bowl ring for his trouble.
F*ck that guy.
Winner? Up until the having a stacked defense this past year, when did he win? As head coach?I dont think he "acted like a A-hole" I just think thats his personality. during the superbowl the broadcasters even mentioned about maybe seeing Vic smile for a rare change. This is on McDaniel, for creating a soft and weak culture. And how in the world during the interview process with Vic did the two sides not see this bad fit is beyond me. Vic is the winner and Mcdaniel is the loser, So I still can not blame Vic for getting out of this dysfunction and weak minded head coach.
I have heard the same thing. He has been described by his teamates as a prima donna. I bet he goes to his next team and matures and being out of south beach will help. He probably will look more like the player he was year 1 and 2. But he is not working out here and we need to move on.It’s both but I’ve been saying for two solid years calling him out.
We talking about Tennesse game when the Dolphins had 4 backup OL playing for the most of the game? Did you not see how crap Mahomes looked and he had most of his OL in front of him.Yean, specially when almost in the entire 4th quarter your beloved injury prone 5’11 qb wasnt able to gain a single first down and during that entire game his drives where mostly done by defense key stops, ffs and interceptions.
Absolutely, he enjoys the fame and attention to much and he’s not smart.I have heard the same thing. He has been described by his teamates as a prima donna. I bet he goes to his next team and matures and being out of south beach will help. He probably will look more like the player he was year 1 and 2. They were gassed because Grier does a **** job of building young depth with upsideWe talking about Tennesse game when the Dolphins had 4 backup OL playing for the most of the game? Did you not see how crap Mahomes looked and he had most of his OL in front of him.
The Dolphins lost a game from a position were the other 700 times it had occurred in the NFL that team won. It was a collapse of historic proportions and Fangio's defense let Will Levis drive the length of the field twice in the final 3 minutes. The DL was gassed (and I think Miami actually led the TOP) because Wilkins and Sieler were asked to play nearly 90% of the snaps as Fangio didn't trust anyone else. Even with this he still refused to blitzed and just let Levis pick the zones apart.
But yeah, lets blame it on the offense with 4 backup OL's in the game.
