Congratulations on picking up Wes Welker

Dolphin fans,

You guys picked up a great player in Wes Welker. I'm sure you have heard this before, but you will probably hear it about 5000 more times from Tech fans. Wes was a huge fan favorite, and wherever he goes, Tech fans will follow.

Click on the video titled "Wes Welker Highlight Video" under Football 2003. I think you guys will be impressed. Also, check out the 2002 A&M game if you want to see him single handidly bring us back from 17 down in the 4th quarter against Texas A&M. Wes is a warrior and will give the Dolphins 110% on every play.
 
That was a cool video. I'd say he is a tough, elusive runner, not that fast, but savvy.
 
good stuff, I hope he returns a punt for a td at least once this year, that would be fantastic, since we haven't seen one done since the GB game 3 or 4 years ago.
 
Yeah, he definately isn't the fastest guy on the field, but he is a player. Some teams measure football players by 40 times, height, and weight, but there comes a point when you have to see if the guy is a player or not. Wes is short, small, and fairly slow, but boy can he play some football. I think you guys will be very happy with your decision.

I was thinking the same, but look at some of the punt returns. He has jets! He turns them on when needed. He pulls away from players..

That's exactly what I was thinking and, if he's not very fast, he's definately got a little burst when he sees a hole. He's got a go button.
 
Im excited about him. Truth is, the fact that theres something to be excited about around here is exciting in itself!
