While he had his snap issues, he really did a remarkable job moving to center. Became elite in year 2 of learning a new position essentially.

Weird how it turned out to be so bad. After he got up, he walked off under his own power and wasn't limping badly. That led me to initially believe it was a garden-variety ACL tear.

The door is absolutely still open for him to come back.

Perhaps he had issues with his surgery or there was some sort of an infection that required follow-up procedures.

Regardless, he was a great player when healthy and I have no doubt that Miami would welcome him back with open arms if he was ready to play.
