Reminds me of the Vancouver Canucks logo - which is pretty lousy IMO.

The logo is not under our control. Teams seem to be moving away from detail and into more abstract and compact designs.

As a fan of abstract art, it's a fine line between profound distilled representation and straight **** made on ms paint. That image is the latter.

Yeah but the Bucs, Eagles and Pats logos of today are completely distinguishable. The thing you posted in the first post is nowhere near the same.

Not saying we'll ever move past the "animal" of the sea, which is our dolphins, but I thought this was cool. If ever some day we get to some more abstract and sleek design (and who knows with the redesigned uni concepts I've seen)...then maybe something like this, which is not a dolphin but is suggestive of one.

That is actually way worse than current logo which blows in my eyes! But thats my opinion!
