Cortland Finnegan

Ok so Finnegan and Shelley have been at the facility all day and no info? no deal?

Wtf.... Hickey put the pressure on. Tell them its now or GTFO.

I'm all for courting FA's and making them feel wanted and welcome. But seems to be draging out for lower tier FA. Not as if we are courting Peyton Manning.

Part of promoting a good team atmosphere is making everyone feel welcome and important. Not just the best players, but all players. Chill....

MIA drafted Taylor and Davis last year to start at CB and NB.

Miami is looking for a cheap vet to compete with the sophomore CBs and if necessary act as a stopgap if the youngsters are not ready.

Signing Revis for $12 m per year is not only a waste of cap on its own (MIA signed Grimes for 2/3 that amount), but wastes the CB draft picks.

Grimes is good.. he ain't "The Island" bruh! Revis is a 'once in a generation' archetype.. you want young 'uns to learn, have them learn from the best!

besides, ain't ya hurd? Dolphins has them a phat-ass wallet dez days ;)

1 off dude. young is considered not over 30. he's a vet corner and he should play until he is about 33-34 that's 4-5 years out of him. Secondly I am aware of his suspension. Finally Hickey would ned a pair to take a chance on this type of player because of the risk and reward. He would get a million complaints from fans about taking a player with off the field issues. When his performance on the field HELPS the team win. So yes Hickey would need a pair to say F*ck you to whoever disagree with the chance on a risky player at this time for the Miami Dolphins.

Uh, nice try but 30 for a CB is NOT young any way you try and pitch it. He's entering the years of decline and your projection on how long he will play is highly unlikely. Look, he's a few years removed from playing in the CFL (I love you CFL but...) and has had ONE good full season in the NFL. He's slow, he's had drug issues the last two years and he will miss one quarter of next year. There is a fine line between being bold and being stupid and making a serious financial offer to Browner would be the latter. With Finnegan now signed it's academic he's not on the radar anyways.
