Could Boston Really Be Cut???

Well, according to Nasty, last night he looked really good.

I don't think he gets cut. He's the 4th reciever on the roster.
I was at camp last night and yes Boston did make a few nice grabs but the one thing I did notice is that he seems to be having a hard time getting off the line of scrimmage in bump and run coverage. Every time he was bumped he never got into his route. He didn't seem to be able to get any seperation as well. I personally thought he may have been favoring his knee even though he wasn't limping.

I think Saban would MUCH rather bring David Boston off the bench if and when Chambers or Booker get hurt than someone like Bryan Gilmore or Kendall Newson. I mean that's no contest.

Let`s see what Boston looks like once we get into September...we`ve got a whole month to go before then, and I`m betting the guy improves dramatically from now until then. Give him some time people, he`ll get there!

I also don't see him getting cut. He is making the vet minimum he is really a no risk. I just don't see Saban cutting someone with his potential. Especially for the price we are paying him.

i guess we will see how good he looks monday nite

even if he doesn't regain his old form he's signed cheaply this year so I don't think he'll get cut BUT anything is possible this offseason.

i dont see why not..i mean he isnt gauranteed a spot so he must prove he can play against real pressure on him

saban was quoted that boston was starting to regain his form and it takes time after coming back off an injury...he wont get cut...

I don't think there is any chance of Boston being cut. Short of him failing or test or him assaulting more air port employees.

This is in response to the Q & A on Sun Sentinel, about how they were sayin Bosotn still hasn't regained his old form, and could have a tough time making the final cuts because Chambers, and Booker are locks, Thompson is considered the front runner for the 3rd WR, and Gilmore has the advantage over Boston because he plays special teams. While I can see the reasoning behind this, I still just CANNOT see Boston getting cut Again, I think the guy still has Unlimited Potential to dominate a game each and every week. What do you guys think???????

Boston would really have to dog it not to make this team. There's no coach in the NFL who'd take Gilmore over Boston. Unless of course D-Bo were to resort to his days of yester-year when he was an immature punk.

we need Boston b/c Thompson has proven over and over again hes not reliable.
down the stretch thompson was making every catch he was supposed to make last year, and some he wasn't, in fact he was probably our most reliable receiver last year.
