Could we end up with nothing?

I dont think there will be a big market for Matt Flynn, I dont even think the Dolphins will go after Matt Flynn if we dont get Manning. And I think Cleveland will make a big commitment to a new QB, and will continue to rely on the developement of Colt McCoy. For us its either Manning or Tannehill. I do not think its likely will not end up with either one.
 
For whatever reason, Free agents don't seem like they want to play in Miami. Seems they just use us to get other teams to pony up the money. Hope we can get someone or once again we are screwed at the QB position.
 
This team has the uncanny ability to snatch defeat from the clutches of victory.

I wouldn't be surprised if we miss out on all available QB's and end up with some second tier QB in the draft.... this is the way of this organization.

On one argument we are stating that the FO settle for 2nd tier QB's but then on the other hand many are shouting that we may be left with nothing, by shooting for the no.1 target.

Philbin knows Flynn. Sherman know Tannehill. If they are shooting for Manning, for once I trust the FO and coaches to at least make the right choice in deciding who they go for, even if they miss out.

I agree. I think we are in great position to make the best informed decision. If Manning chooses to go elsewhere, no big deal. He has to want to come here and if not it could blow up in Philbin's face. Manning would need to be in tune with the Head Coach and O Coord or Miami will turn into a Sunday Afternoon Soap Opera. Way worse than what it has been (in some folks eyes).
 
Ross was supposed to make a big splash with a big name qb this year.Where is he?Peyton will not be here imo and if he does its just a quick fix.He is not the same and if we win some games and not the superbowl we will not be able to draft a qb worth a darn.I think RG3 was the answer but we let the skins get him.I know it was a lot to give but when you see a guy like him and we pick at eight go and get him.Now if we dont get Flynn what now? Tannehill is not the answer. Next year with moore or anybody else we win six or seven wins that means no Barkley for us.Im just saying options are getting thin when we want an old qb with bad heath issues. I think Ross wants to fill the seats in miami with peyton because all will come to see him.But that does not mean getting to the big game.Would RG3 get us there this year?No.But give him a few years and i think he could plus he is young.By the time he gets us there or close Peyton will be hanging it up or couldnt play in the first place.Then were back to where we are now .No qb of the future.I think we missed the boat once again.
 
Manning is not the answer. Our goal should be to draft a stud QB, be it this yr,next yr or 3 yrs from now. Keep drafting well and we will be alright. Manning should be going to the ravens or texans.

Whats with all of this? The Browns have Mccoy, their guy. The Cards have their guy, Kolb. And when we need someone, the other teams just throw away "Their guys" and get new ones. Bogus! Totally bogus dude!

Well Henne was our guy. Neither McCoy or Kolb has proven they are the guy so why not get someone that is deemed as better

Doesn't matter where his talent says he should go. The premium on quarterbacks drives the draft slot way way up. Just like Locker and Ponder last year. Tannehill could most definitely go at 4. Mike Mayock said so the other day.
