I wouldn't take a discount to play in Cleveland. That ownership churns through coaches like I churn through toilet paper after eating 3 burritos from Taco Bell

We've got roughly $9 million...although not sure how much we've spent on picking up Sheppard and whatever other players we sign this year for injured guys. That gets carried over. We rolled over $18 million last year and our cap hit this year is estimated to be $132 million according to Spotrac.com http://www.spotrac.com/cap-tracker/nfl/ with a total cap space of $141 million. Next years cap hit will be $142 million. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/miami-dolphins/cap/2015/. This years salary cap is $133 million...next year who knows. Might be $140 million (in which case we may be over by $2 million before any cuts or contract restructuring and possible carry over). Best case scenario is we get to carry over $7 million of the cap savings from this year, cap goes up 10% again to $146 million and then we're looking at our cap space as $153 million giving us $11 million under the cap. Roughly $6 million of which will go to signing the rookie class giving us about $5 million to play with before cuts.
Our free agents next year....Knowshon Moreno, Louis Delmas, Matt Moore, Jared Odrick, Daryn Colledge, Samson Satele, Charles Clay, Jimmy Wilson, Jason Trusnik, Derrick Shelby, Jonathan Freeny, Michael Thomas...those are the significant ones. With not much money to sign most of them.
No way Cameron isn't tagged next year. Plus I'm sure he's going to be looking for something close to what Jimmy Graham got. As of right now we're predicted to be over the cap next year.
From what I've read on the vote we would get Dion Jordan back immediately but still unsure about Reshad Jones' status.
We shouldn't be over the cap next year, it should be a wash if the cap doesn't rise.
we will let moore go, and keep clay, probably extend ryan instead of picking of the option and pay way to much. depending on knowshons season resign him. lbs will more than likely be new, and one wr casualty. more than likely hartline bc of his cap unless Wallace sucks for the rest of the season
Nice write up, but with that being said Hickey better have a kick-azz draft next year. No excuses for him and he will be judged on it harshly and it's where he'll prove his worth
