True and unfortunate for Philbin because he had to endure his first two years as HC with a GM that didn't have a clue.

"Bully-gate obviously fueled the team to make a run. If it wasn't for Jonathan Martin they probably finish 8-8 like we all predicted. Therefore, Ireland deserves some credit for this Super Bowl win in a roundabout way."
 
I want this staff together for at least 3 more years. We got to give this staff time to right Irelands wrongs.
 
Shouldn't be surprised by this.

If the team performs well on the field, a lot of the negative views go away.......but until that happens, just ignore it.

I predict this guy will be wrong. We now have Lazer and Hickey. A guy who knows how to run a dynamic, modern up-tempo offense and a GM who knows how to build a team. I don't care what these type of writers say. We WILL be in the Playoffs!!!

I think that although Ross wants to win, he will be looking at other things too when he evaluates the staff at the end of the year. If we are as dysfunctional as we were when Ireland was around, Philbin can kiss his ass goodbye. However, if everyone is working well together and we seem to be making progress, Ross may give them another year.

Unless Harbaugh is available and interested would be my caveat.

I want them all together this year and next, Tannehill included. I don't want Tannehill to be able to use excuse after excuse every year for 10 years...

Good point! I am guessing Ross is going to be very careful about how he handles Harbaugh if this situation ever presents itself. I really like Lazor. I know we haven't even played a game yet, but so far I like his hard nosed style. I would hate to lose Lazor; however, Harbaugh would be just to good to pass up. His background and winning ways would give him instant credibility in the locker room and probably pay dividends in our player's focus and production.
 
Schein is kind of douchey, but he's more or less right. If he can be faulted for anything it's that he's being Captain Obvious.
