Curious as to why guys want to tank

Absolutely not, i love the packers qb and if it wasnt for Lamar Jacksons boneheaded at times throws id drafted him myself. I have a problem with a media pushing certain things just for the obvious but not merit deserved reasons
So making Miami relevant while leading the nation in yards and being 2nd in td’s is not a deserved reason?
Who deserves the hype then?

I wasnt talking about Tua in that post

A solid center is the lynchpin to a successful offensive line.
And for 2023, Grier and McDaniel felt that there was no need for a back-up Center on the roster in case Williams got hurt. How anyone can defend those two and think that they are able to build and run a contender is beyond me!

That being said… his stats mean jack **** when he has only won 1 game agains the last 12 teams with a winning record… and that team is the dallas cowboys…

We need what every other team in the nfl needs. A qb that can win big games! Few have it and everyone else is searching for it!! Us included. We may still find that qb in Tua, but unlikely!!

Tanking won’t guarantee anything, as every single pick in a draft is ultimately a crapshoot!!

So true! However, because it is so hard to find an elite QB, the next best thing is to have a tough, competitive team that can still win with a less-than-elite QB while you keep looking for one. That's why I want to see a new GM who knows the importance of building from the inside out, and a new HC who actually has some experience and knows how to manage a game (unlike McD).

I'm tired of seeing Miami get pushed around and run over by tough physical teams... I want to see them do the dominating again. I'd be fine with the next regime going with a QB like Sam Howell (or ?) while building a strong foundation, and then if Howell (or ?) doesn't work out, they could then go for a QB in the 2026 draft. What sucks is that idiot Grier giving that big contract to an injury-prone Tua, but if Tua was smart, he'd retire.

Frustration.

This offense isn’t going to win a game without Tua. We are staring at 1-4 when, hopefully, Tua comes off IR against AZ. That makes the margin of error zero the rest of the year. That means going on the road to win big games in Dec which has been our Achilles heel dating back to at least the early 90s. Best case scenario we win in historic fashion to cap the regular season and have to travel through the playoffs to Buffalo, KC, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, New York, whatever. All of this is extremely unlikely and we finish the year with the most expensive and oldest roster with nothing to show for it.
I have been really feeling down since Tua got hurt but I have a good feeling about tomorrow night. I think Hundley will give us some good play and we'll end up 2-2.

WEVE NEVER TANKED PROPERLY NOR TANKED THE CORRECT YEAR.
The one season they got the #1 pick honestly, it was the worst QB class in NFL history😂. And the Dolphins made it worse by drafting a defensive player.🙄 And he didn't last long here. What happened to him(Long)? He wasn't re-signed I think.

Let's see if I can guess what year that was. 2008?

Regarding tanking for Tua wrong. That was a bad tank job because they signed the bearded QB instead of one of us.

are you drunk?

People want to tank because reality sucks and their fantasy (draft picks/free agents/new coach-GM) looks good to them

I should've mentioned they were trying for Burrow when they got Tua.
