D Mac relative to our LT situation

I think the fact that D-mac is even still here AFTER we got Houck in says something.

excellent point. houck was in san diego with d mac for 2 years (2002,2003) so he'd know whether or not the guy is worth keeping around.

Am I mistaken but, isn't OT Carey's NATURAL position? he moved to guard his senior year due to all the Cane injuries.

"Natural" doesnt figure into it. Tackle is fundamentally harder then Guard. There isnt any reason why Carey would be better at Tackle then at Guard. The question is whether or not he has the pass protection skills for Tackle.

The reason why Carey struggled at Guard at UM isnt anything to do with the position. It was either because he was injured or went half-arsed.

I thought D-Mac's agreement with the coaching staff was that we would not draft a potential LT... Is that not the case?

Please fill me in
remember the guy who was uh, coaching last year? yeah that guy, well he was the only one who was willing to make promises to players...;)
