Why did Duke do a sqib kick in the 4th quarter? The commentators said they did it to catch UM off guard. How? The only reason I know of to do a sqibb kick is to kill a few extra seconds off the clock at the end of the game.

Yeah, I think it was smart on Manny's part. Game over, no reason to get anyone else injured on either side. Concede and shake.

Was anybody else holding their breath when Ward was still in the game during garbage time? His last play of the game was the sack & fumble. If he would've gotten injured during garbage time, Cristobal leaving him in the game would've been as bone headed a decision as not taking a knee at the end of the Georgia Tech game last season(That was Georgia Tech wasn't it?).
The final ranking is the only one that will matter. Getting into the top 4 would be huge since that gives you a first round bye. Miami would probably have to win out to achieve that.

UF leads 13-6 at halftime. This could be interesting. But Georgia will probably wake up and win by 2 touchdowns.
I nailed the score, but I don't know if you can say Georgia woke up. They weren't excacty dominant. If UF hadn't botched a FG, UF might've won. Maybe its an ugly win. I'm pretty sure Georgia didn't cover the spread.

Edit: The point spread was 14.5. So they missed covering by half a point. I know its a rivaly game, but shouldn't #2 vs unranked be at least a 20 point spread? UM was favored by 21.5 over FSU. The SEC factor I guess.

We could have chaos brewing in the ACC. SMU is beating PITT 21-3 midway through the second quarter and Louisville is beating Clemson 17-7 with 43 seconds in the 2nd quarter. Apparently there's a scenario where there could be a 3 way tie for the second spot in the ACC championship and a 4 way for both if UM loses. If the games end this way, Clemson, PITT, and SMU would all have 1 conference loss.

Edit: Oops. SMU would have 0 Conference losses, which is where the chaos comes in. 2 of the 3 teams don't play each other, or something like that.

SMU scored another TD again and they had to stop the game and bring an ambulance on to the field for an injured SMU player. The injury happened during the kickoff return.

A team does not have to be ranked in the top 4 to earn a bye. All 4 of the Power-4 Conference Champions (SEC, B1G, ACC, BIG-12) will receive an automatic bye and host a second round playoff game.

This will change, but as of today the bracket appears as such:

(12) Boise St
vs
(5) Ohio St.

Winner plays at (4) BYU

(9) Tennessee
vs
(8) Penn St.

Winner plays at (1) Oregon

(11) Alabama or LSU or SMU
vs
(6) Texas

Winner plays at (3) Miami

(10) Notre Dame
vs
(7) Indiana

Winner plays at (2) Georgia

*LSU and/or SMU could also be the (11) seed.

**Texas A&M, Colorado, and Iowa St. still have an outside shot to get into the playoff and earn a bye as Conference Champions.

***Army has an outside shot to get in the playoff as the highest ranked G5 team, but Boise St. would really have to stumble.

I think the top 4 as of today will be.

1. Oregon

2. Georgia

3. Ohio State

4. Miami

Wow! 5.5 ACC teams in the top 25(ND is the .5😡🤬). I guess this will make UM look good for Tuesday's rankings. Even though only one of them is on UM's schedule.

But the real rankings come out on Tuesday .
