No, they’re not. They’re being drastically overrated w/o having done or proven a thing.

They were a non-playoff team last year. Rodgers also led a non-playoff team last year. And they are in division with Buffalo and Miami. Teams that have better offensive playmakers and arguably better defenses.

So why is anything suddenly going to change?

There are very few backs that make their OL look better. Ricky Williams, Adrian Peterson, Derrick Henry and Barry Sanders come to mind.

That’s one of many reasons why RBs are devalued.

I don’t think Cook would have magically transformed our running game into something potent. The evidence is that his backup did well last year. That suggests the line was doing their job.

To me, he isn’t worth the cap space.

Cook is good but he has his flaws too. Prone to fumbles and injuries. Minnesota was tired of paying him with those flaws
