I'm sure all of you Florida residents have already been to a Dan Marino's but now us fin fans on the west coast have a Dan Marino's a bit closer than the other side of the country. They opened the Dan Marino's back in February at the new Hooters Hotel and Casino in Vegas and I finally got to Vegas to try it this past weekend. I may be a little bias as a die hard fin fan but it really was one of the best restaurant's I've ever been to. Me and my wife really enjoyed our time there, the food was very good and it was cool looking around and the memorabilia and quotes they have around the restaurant. The best part... the margarita's are an aqua marine color with orange salt on the rim of the glass. Defiantly worth a trip if you’re in the Vegas area and a fins fan.

Enoguh of my sales pitch, here's a couple pictures from the entrance of the restaurant;

Shulas Restaurant is definitely on my list Saturday night when Sabanite and I fly down to Miami for the home opener against Buffalo.
The wife and I go to Vegas twice a year for the NHRA drag races, so Marinos is on the list too, this October.

Is Dan's Restaurant actually attached to the Hooters casino, or is it next door?

Also, how was the Hooters casino and where is it located on the strip?

Hehe that my company's jersey hanging on the wall there, in fact I sold them the jersey AND the case... ahhh.... the pleasure of a hard days work. I am not BSing by the way, I work for Mounted Memories which is Dan's exclusive autograph comapny. Anyhow, I was out in Vegas in March and saw the resturant from the outside. I believe it is connected to the Hooters, not on the inside from what I could tell. I dont think it was on the strip though, it was right by it, but not DIRECTLY on it from what I remember.

The new Hooters Casino is the old San Remo Hotel and Casino. It`s not actually on the Strip, but on Tropicana Ave. which intersects with the Strip (MGM Grand, New York New York, Excalibur, the Tropicana are on each of the four corners).

I've been to the Shula's steakhouse here in Philadelphia, relatively expensive but the food was quality. Isn't there one in like every city?

I've been to Dan Marino's in Tampa and I can agree, leaving all favoratism behind that it is a very good restuarant! I'd recommend it, its a combo between and ale house and a tipical fancy restuarant. I love Shula's too, one of the best steak house's out there! Support your fins!

Yes you have to go to Shula's. Last year on Vacation my family went Shula's in the Dolphins and Swan resort (i think that's the name). The service is unbelievable and they have the best streak i've ever tasted. In fact the waiter was telling us how they're ranked #2 in the nation for steak behind Ruth Cris and i'v been there and shula's was better. It's ezspensive but deff. worth it especially with all the Dolphins decorations all over the place.
