Daniel Thomas Cut

I look at it this way. Any one of us could have gotten off the couch and gained 2.9 yards per carry against Ram scrubs.
Daniel Thomas was never any good and the only reason he wasn't cut after the his first training camp was because of Ireland refusal to admit another terrible pick.

Dion Jordan will follow the same path, but I think Hickey will only give him this year.
There are too many talented players, even at the bottom of the draft, that want it more than DJ.

Every time another bad player is released, it makes this team better and more talented.
Continue upgrading talent and eventually we will get there.

Completely agree but I sincerely hope you are wrong about Jordan. We really need him to live up to his potential as we cannot afford to be burning high picks like we used on him and get nothing in return. My hope is that he'll slim back down some and regain that speed that he had last year and that the coaches will let him play his natural style of attacking and he can get out of his own head.

I wonder when DT got the news of his release if he walked towards the door backwards. That was his signature running style, backing his way towards his goal, so I'm curious if that carries over to real life.

When he got hit with the news he probably got a concussion

End of an era. Looking back, I'm not sure whether moving up to draft Daniel Thomas over demarco or the Brandon Marshall debacle or vontae debacle was the defining example of what a failure Ireland was.

I'd call it the "end of an error".

Brandon Marshall was a must to move.

Davis was moved with Philbins blessing.

I'm not sad either are no longer Phins.

You should be sad Ireland moved them for less value than he acquired them.

DT probably headed toward the door and bounced off of it.
