Dansby irked with Dolphins Front Office

Dansby's interviews make him sound like an illiterate moron. His "know what I'm saying" crap after every sentence shows his lack of intelligence.

Maybe he and Burnett shouldn't have been dogging it in the game at New England last year That spoke volumes about the two of them. They were basically jogging instead of going full speed to the ball carrier. After that game even Hartline mentioned about players not playing hard. No doubt 2 of the players were Dansby and Burnett. I was glad when we cut both of them
Yup. Dansby is a turd. The only good play Kevin Burnett made while he was here was shutting up Omar Kelly by offering to step outside and take him to the woodshed.

How will his kids eat with the millions of dollars he's made in life! We need to get a donation group going ASAP!!

I thought that they were both just slow

Dansby saying that the team took food out of his kids' mouths shows a sincere lack of understanding of the business of football. Either Dansby is a complete dunce or his agents have not managed their client well. The agents should be explaining the system to the player. The agents needed to tell the player how the team could get out of the contract and the consequences of coming into camp like a fat slob. He is complaining about not getting money that was never his, because his contract at that point was not guaranteed. Maybe if Dansby understood the system, he would have gotten into shape like he did in '13 in earlier years, and been a better soldier in Miami. Honestly, he doesn't seem bright enough to have been a good locker room leader. When someone does not have the ability to formulate intelligent analysis of circumstances, how can they lead?

The Dolphins followed the system and released a player who wasn't committed. He had come in out of shape in the past, etc, and the Dolphins used the system appropriately. If he was worth $6 million, another team would have picked him up at such a rate because there would be multiple bidders vying for him. None of that happened. So, he's paid what he is worth.

Now, it appears the Dolphins woke him up because now he is in great shape and the results are better (5 picks, 2 for TD's; some sacks). But that reflects a different player than what we saw in Miami. By his own illiterate admission, he is in better shape now. The Dolphins didn't get their money's worth. If he did in Miami what he's doing now, he would have gotten his $6 million.

This goes to show that a client needs to understand his own circumstances and rely on himself, and just use agents as facilitators. When a player is so lacking in a basic understanding of the system, his agent failed. Sadly, if the player doesn't know or understand that his agent failed, then the agent gets away with it. This is precisely why athletes need to get educated.

He is an idiot. If he would have made plays instead of making tackles, the majority of the time, after the offensive player had made the play; he would still be in Miami.

I've seen him make a couple plays this year.. Guy always found a way to be in position here to make a game changing play most games, just never made it. Food from your kids, like you make 12k a year and ramen is a necessity.

Could care less about how he sounded in interviews, showed up to camp late, played bad against NE (half the defense did), etc.

The fact is that he's performing better than Ellerbe and Wheeler.

LOL at "They're faster and are blitzing LB's" Dansby has more sacks combined, Burnett also.

I don't mind that he got cut - but his mentioning that they did it over the phone?

Unfortunately, based on everything we have been learning about Ireland whenever news comes out, I believe it... seems like a ****ty, disrespectful move, and sounds like something Ireland would do.

Dansby was all talk and no substance as a Dolphin. Know what I'm sayin?

We've been told one side of a story where there's most probably at least one more. Maybe Dansby wasn't in Miami at that point in time. If we called him asking to come down to Miami and when he's here he's being told he's cut he would complain having been told to fly in just for being shown the door. Another alternative would have been to learn about it on Fox. What's the best option? I'm completely fine with a phone call.

Outstanding post.

Because every player in the league who had ever been cut got cut in person. Don't believe everything you read.

Oh I missed that, what did Omar say to get him so upset....
