Sorry Nubs not trying to be a hater here, but from what I have seen if Philbin I don't see him as the type of leader that has the self confidence to keep this train on the tracks.

I think the problem is that everyone was used to walking all over the meatball with immunity since Henning started that precedent. It is a rude awakening when players are held accountable after being excused or allowed to slide. Color me for now as a happy camper in "Camp Philbin"

Brandon Marshalls ex-fiancée had a stab wound and the responding officer arrested him. The detectives then determined it was self Inflected. Researching Lozoda I would put nothing by her.

That is one wary to look at it, but another is to avoid conflict Philbin hides by cutting players.

Actually no it is not I debated people at length on her and provided links to the detectives testimony. However per your usual antics as soon as I prove it you will vanish rather then just admit you learned something.

If that is the case this is going to be a major problem. The train appears to be headed off the tracks.

LOL. Produce your evidence that she had stab wounds and I'll tell you "I just learned something".

Incidentally, I don't disappear once someone produces evidence to the contrary. I leave debates once it's clear someone has fired their best shot and it came out like a limp dick. Just an FYI.

Maybe so but now he needs to lead by example and play by example or he can be the next to go. Dansby has done nothing to lead this team other than speak in the media, anyone can run at the gums but it takes a true leader to inspire and lead by example.

and all this "3 strikes" crap. he should have been cut after his vulgar media chat fiasco. the way he blew off coach philbin during his talk about that inceident was telling about his mentality.

if chad johnson is the new "consumate pro", than this leauge is done. chad stinko hasnt been relevant or football FIRST in 7 years. the guy has mental issues and needs attention of a professional psychiatrist, not a pro football player or coach.

think billichek would have cut him had he been "football first" and "all about football"?

sounds like dumbsby is all about homey the clown and not about having TRUE team unity.
 
I agree CK. This means the message got through and Philbin is in control. You don't let the inmates run the asylum. I appluad Joe for his swift action and actually doing what he said he was going to do if the antics kept up. I don't see any train heading off any tracks. I see a coach who has said we're going to run this organization a certain way and you're either on board or you're not. It's about time in my opinion. :up:

He's been doing that. I think he's doing that right now. Every player feels vulnerable to getting into some situation that looks bad but isn't what everyone thinks it is, and they want to know that the team has their back in that situation. It's sort of like how the unions automatically have an initial stance of backing the worker almost no matter what.

But I think in this case the evidence is there, and the circumstances were extenuating. This is a guy that came in on a one-strike policy, on the veteran's minimum with no signing bonus, and they've said all along that first he has to "make the team", and part of that involved keeping his nose clean and not being a headache. Then he goes on a press conference rant dropping F-bombs all over the place, talking about going into porn, talking about smoking weed with Gene Simmons (trust me you didn't hear that on Hard Knocks or anywhere else but he said it, and the fact that it's been edited out of every public conversation since shows you just how STUPID it was for Chad to say that), and now he gets into an argument with his wife that leaves her with a 3 inch laceration on her face and giving taped and sworn evidence against him?
