I don't remember if he was told to keep playing or the training staff said it was nothing serious, but shortly after Boston had to jump in the air to catch a pass, and when he came down he had a torn ACL. All this(along with some other things) lead to Boston filing a lawsuit against our medical staff.
I wish people would tell facts when posting such information. These type of details can change a whole perspective on a situation
Boston felt some knee pain, reported to the training staff and they didn't think anything was wrong. Boston made the choice to continue during practice (he wanted to prove that he was committed to helping the team) and when coming down tore his patella tendon (in the opposite knee from the patella he tore in Arizona).
There was NO lawsuit filed by Boston because he felt the training staff did everything they could to give him the correct information. They allowed him to make the ultimate choice, so he did NOT file a lawsuit.
