David Garrard has good chance to start

I believe Fisher wanted DG to back up Bradford for the Rams. The contract can be terminated at any time and we do need a few arms for training camp so he's ok but i would not get my hopes up on him returning to the pro bowl guys. The search goes on.
 
I like Moore as the starter because I like what I saw from him last year, but if garrad comes in and plays better why the hell would I still want moore to start thats just dumb to say that at that point. I still want the dolphins to win, even though I cant stand Ireland.
 
The other teams see it different. Every other team in the NFL sees Gerrard as a backup and Rams were interested in him. Phins are the only team that thinks he can compete for a starting poistion and you think like they do it seems.

In my mind this means we are scraping the bottom of the FA barrell signing 34 year old QBs. Hope Philbin can identify someone good in the draft that the GM wont screw up in getting.

Yes I do because he will be competing with another backup quarterback in Matt Moore. Unfortunately we don't currently have a franchise quarterback on the roster. What's so hard to understand?
 
seems like he leaves his receivers out to dry on a lot of passes, just an observation from the video
 
Looks good in that clip -- Where does Mike SIms Walker play now? they both had great seasons in Jacksonville!
 
You guys will really talk yourselves into anything. No matter how ridiculous. He may very well start games for us, but that's not a good thing. I liked Garrard as a midrange NFL QB 5 years ago. The dude's 34 now. And let's not get carried away with the pro bowl. Other recent AFC Pro Bowl QBs include Derek Anderson, Kerry Collins, Matt Cassel, and Vince Young.
 
Some of us are trying to be hopeful and I'm one of them. I know that really bothers some of you but all the constant negativity no matter what this team does bothers some here too.

Have the balls to call things like they are. You don't need to sugarcoat bull****.
 
Garrard will make a good backup to the backup when Moore, this time not deprived of a fair TC competition that last season might well have cost us a shot at the playoffs, battles either Tannehill or (hopefully) Weeden for the starting job. I'm comfortable with that arrangement.

The rams? The team who still believes that Bradford is their franchise qb? What a farce. Guy is way overrated and I don't know why.
