Could of easily just said he will be a good quarterback in this league and left it there. Not saying it means much but he didn't have to word it the way he did either.

Johnson could have simply left it at something like, "Josh was a really good teammate and I wish him the best in Miami." There was no need to go overboard with praise unless Johnson felt it was the truth.

Agreed...just as San Diego fans didn’t see it when they drafted Drew Brees....New England fans didn’t see it after Brady’s rookie year....etc etc etc

The point is... a top player...who played along side Josh Rosen in his rookie year... sees something!

And that carries more weight for me than the fans.

Exactly... nothing to gain by going overboard!

Doesn’t mean it’s gospel... but at the least it’s a good sign an all-Pro did that... one that actually played along side him.
