i don't buy any of that league ordered stuff...at all...i'm sure the league would like it but 20 or so other teams already said it's not worth it and left the language out

I read the same thing but I don't remember where. Aponte worked in the NFL offices and she is enforcing what they want. Freaking ridiculous. This money won't even make a dent in the bottom line.

It wasn't a year salary I believe it was a roster bonus or something and the team was fined for making a move before the year started if memory serves me correct.

call me crazy but i think this hole drama with tannenhill is to appease the hard knocks show. I think there hole plan is to make this grand entrance for tannenhill 2 weeks after camp starts. Just watch, as soon as tannenhill gets back, the show will have this grand entrance for tannenhill like he is the qb we have waitin for since marino retired. Could be hardknocks idea, could be ross, i think its a bit of both from each side wanting to make hard knocks interesting. Ross we all know, wants nothing but to sell tickets. I just dont buy this snag in contract bull, we got too much invested in tannenhill with our 1st round pick to be worried about if he is going to work out or not. Look how much money we gave marshall, this isnt about money or contracts, i just dont buy it.

She tried to cut him in February but there wasn't enough cap room. They wanted to cut him sooner because he ran his mouth all superbowl week about how he wanted to be cut. The move put them $600,000 over the cap so they just waited until the start of the new year and did it then

Cribbs flat out named her as the problem she low balled him and said take it or leave it. One of the first things Holgrem did was fire her and sign Cribbs. No surprise her take it or leave it my way or the highway mentality scored her a job with Tuna and Ireland!
